Why is the crab constellation just named Crab instead of her proper name? The official name for the crab constellation is Cancer, which would be highly inappropriate for a character in a children's show.
In "Sorry Sunny", Anyold's shenanigans get in the way of Sunny's rays. Since Sunny is the literal sun in this universe, that means that Anyold essentially plunged a large portion of Earth into darkness over a silly juggling act. Sunny was completely in the right to shout at him to move; she has a responsibility to keep Earth illuminated.
"Sunny Loses Her Shine" shows that Sunny can leave her ladder during the day by using clouds to cover the Earth, which gives her an alibi for anyvtime that she and Mr Moon need to be in the same place at the sane time. But what happens if the clouds dissipate before they can get back?
Scientists suggest that the Sun is 4.6 billion years old, while the moon didn't come along until 60 million years later. Coupled with that, the first stars didn't emerge until 100 million years after the Big Bang. Sunny must have been very lonely, waiting millions of years all by herself before Mr Moon, Silva, Gold Star, and Stella came along.
A few episodes suggest that Sunny can hear what people talk about on Earth, such as hearing boys and girls calling Venus the Wishing Star. Presumably, Mr Moon has this ability as well, but since he stands on his ladder at night, when most people are asleep, his time watching over the Earth must be very lonely compared to Sunny.
