Fridge Brilliance

  • Cry Baby/Melanie is frequently seen using baby bottles and pacifiers in music videos or pictures, in spite of her age. The song 'Cry Baby' likely is about Melanie suffering anxiety or some other mental illness. Pacifiers and other things one can chew or suck on can be used for stimming and calming techniques for those suffering anxiety, autism, etc.

  • Why is Crybaby suddenly living alone in "Tag, You're It"? Her mom got thrown in jail for the murder and while the cops were at the house, found her brother's weed stash.

Fridge Horror

  • If you think about it, it's a good thing Melanie jossed "Play Date," "Teddy Bear," and "Cake" being part of Cry Baby's story. It'd mean that Cry Baby not only still has issues finding love, but that she had to deal with a Yandere ex-boyfriend trying to kill her. Even after a Bittersweet Ending like "Mad Hatter," she'd still be suffering.
  • In “Dollhouse”, one of the lines is “don’t let them see what goes down in the kitchen”. Apparently, this is a reference, but if someone doesn’t know that… they’d be left with a question. What the h*** goes down in the kitchen?!
    • This is likely a reference to "Sippy Cup" the next song on the album, wherein the accompanying music video shows Cry Baby's mother murdering her husband and his mistress in their kitchen.
