Fridge / Mashle: Magic and Muscles

Go To

  • This is a Harry Potter tale if the Dark Lord’s Horcrux decided to ally with the heroes. Tellingly, when he’s out of the picture the whole tale becomes a traditional Shonen tale.
  • Lance mentions "physical enhancement magic" in his first fight with Mash. This magic existing could explain why none was too surprised at Mash doing incredible things. It took actual magic-nullifying weapons - Abyss Razor's eye and Cell War's mirror - to reveal that Mash had no magic.
  • Lance and Dot make a better couple than either character with Mash. As rivals and friends they bounce off each other better and improve each other, while Mash doesn’t care about either’s issues and just beats them down.
  • During the fight against Love Cute and Milo Genius, Rayne happens to pass by while searching for Cell War, and give Milo such a physical beating (in the anime, he kicks him no less than 43 times, and one to the ribs) that seems almost out of character. He's the perfect of Adler dorm, so seeing students under his wing being bullied is one thing, but his own brother is among them as well. No wonder why Rayne reacts even more extreme in comparison to subsequent fights.
  • Finn's training with Kaldo involving healing bunnies, which is Rayne's favourite animal and also his Animal Motif. Serveral chapters later, Finn heals his brother's injuries the same way with his newly acquired power.
