Fridge Logic:

  • How exactly did Khadijah, Synclaire and Regine afford their two-story, beautifully funished Manhattan apartment? Aside from them being the owner of a fledgling magazine, the receptionist of said magazine and being a sales clerk at a boutique, New York City has one of the highest living costs in the world and the borough of Manhattan is easily the highest. Even if Flavor did eventually get the recognition of the likes of Ebony and Regine did end up working for the wardrobe department of a national soap opera, it still doesn't explain how they were able to afford the place at first.
    • They lived in 1990s' Brooklyn. It's feasible.
  • If Max spent so much time at her friends' apartment building, why not just move in? There have been plenty of times that there was a spare apartment in the building (i.e., that cute neighbor the girls were competing for, its plausible that he moved out after his two episode arc) and that fact that she could easily afford it.
    • Max once lived with them; however, she and Regine had a fight after not getting along, causing Max to move out.
  • How exactly did Max manage to stay so thin in spite of her voracious appetite?
  • How did Darryl, Regine's ex and good friend, end up being living averagely to the point of sharing an apartment with his friends and depending on his retirement as his big payday to being loaded in his next (and final) appearance where he gets an unfaithful, gold-digging fiancee?
