Omi's birthday is Leap Day, February 29. Kapitel takes place in 1998, when Omi is 16 or 17 years old; counting backwards, this makes his birth year about 1981 or 1982, neither of which were Leap Years. Of course, Tsukiyono Omi is a made-up identity, so why should he have a real birthdate?
