Fridge / Homicide: Life on the Street

Go To

  • Fridge Brilliance:
    • Pembleton frequently chides Bayliss in the early episodes for not being able to think like a killer and therefore would be a poor Homicide detective. In the Series Finale, he realizes, to his horror, how wrong he was.
    • Similarly, if you've read the book, noticing which characters are straight outta its pages is hugely rewarding.
  • Fridge Horror: After the revelation that Bayliss was abused as a child, his relationship to Pembleton looks a lot darker, with the possibility that he took the amount of shit he did from Frank because he was unconsciously replicating that relationship with an authority figure.
