Second time watching the movie, Hal's narration (aside from Q01 becoming Hal) is technically truth. His mention that "Hal is gone" refers to him being humbled after losing Kurumi. His mention that an empty space only occupies where he used to be refers to his Heroic BSoD. And the mention of Kurumi being unable to eat, sleep, listen or cry is meant to foreshadow her death. She certainly can't do any of those things if she's dead after all.
