Some of the heroes' powers fall under this if you stop to think about them. For example, the Ant's acid bomb: he tosses a grenade that covers everything and everyone in its radius with deadly corrosive acid. And he uses this on human thugs, brainwashed minions, and animals. Microwave's irradiate is also pretty gruesome.
