Fridge / Brother Bear 2

Fridge Brilliance

  • The first movie centered around the Storge (Familial Love) while the sequel is centered around the Eros (Romantic Love), which is shown throughout the movie - with the main plot of Kenai and Nita failing in love, Rutt and Tuke trying to win feelings of Anda and Kata, Tug getting the girlfriend and the animal couples appearing at the opening of the film.
  • The reason of Denahi and rest of Kenai's village not appearing at his and Nita's wedding, may be because their villages are separated from each other, meaning there would be no time to inform them about the wedding, considering that the wedding took place the next day, immediately after Nita's transformation.
  • At the beginning of the film, Rutt and Tuke are escaping from angry female bison, who is chasing them because Tuke mistook her for a female moose, despite his brother's warnings. Considering Tuke said "But from the back she looked like the one." you can easily assume what Tuke had done to her.
  • The line when Koda says that he'll be fine on his own could be interpreted in several ways: first of all, the bears from the Salmom Run can take care of him due to having a strong bond with him. Similarly, Rutt and Tuke (with Anda and Kata) could take him, due to their friendship. And lastly Koda is actually referencing something that happens to all bear cubs when they are two years old (judging by Koda's size in comparison to Kenai's in the first film, Koda is a yearling, and by the time of the sequel is two years old): when they have to separate from their mother and learn to live a solitary life.note  Basically Koda is saying that he's ready to be solitary if it means that Kenai can be happy.
  • When moosettes fall for Tuke, Rutt - left heartbroken - while being upset about it, doesn't acknowledges the fact that his brother is in relationship with two females (the same thing happening to Tuke later, when the girls fall for Rutt) as being something out of the ordinary. Then you remember that moose are polygamous.
