• Fridge Humour: Before the ball, Odette asks Prince Daniel to find her father and sister, and tell them that she's okay. Unfortunately he doesn't manage to find them before the ball, but imagine what would've happened if he did meet Odette's real father, only for her to supposedly show up at the ball with a completely different man that she's calling her father.
  • He would've seen her with a man that looks exactly like her father but doesn't sound like him at all. And neither recognizing Odette's sister, it'd be obvious to him that there's a deception. In at least one cartoon adaptation, Odile was a raven that was turned into a copy of Odette, so likely either Rothbart would've taken someone or something at random to make them look like Odette's sister, or he would've taken the time to get rid of Odette's family if they were to disturb his plan (either lethally or turning them into animals like with everyone else).
