    Fridge Brilliance
  • Why doesn't the Principal of the Thing arrest you for "escaping detention in the halls" if you're, say, a mile away from his office even though it's been one second since detention ended? Well, some students in Here School (It's A Bully and Arts & Crafters, to name the main examples) have some kind of teleportation power, so it wouldn't be unreasonable for him to assume you teleported away.
  • Why does "Null" tell you his name is Null even when he immediately states that he doesn't really have a name anymore? During that conversation, he realized you're probably looking for lore and the hidden story behind the game. As he had never been officially named, with filename2 being taken directly from the name of his sprite, this ties into the general meaning of "lore" in this context, referring to information about the game in general. Might as well feed the player some lore. Even this little nugget of "lore" is false and mostly meaningless as he states directly afterwards that he has no name. He's telling you that there's no reason to look for any lore because it's all meaningless and that you should just quit the game already.

    Fridge Horror
  • In the remastered version of the game, it's revealed that Null is responsible for corrupting Baldi's Basics. What was it like before he got trapped? Given that one of Baldi's lines ("Find a way out before I catch you!") was replaced, and how terrified he looks in images used as error screens, it might have been a normal educational title with a protagonist who genuinely wanted to help students learn instead of what we see in the "final" version. But then Null got to it…

    Fridge Logic
  • If school is apparently out, why are students like "It's a Bully", "Playtime", "Arts and Crafters", and "Beans" still roaming the halls?
    • Classes are over for the day but there's still some after-school stuff happening?
