Fridge Brilliance

  • If you remember "Animan", you must be aware Otis knows how it feels to be mocked. No wonder he's more sympathetic towards Alya (who is mocked by almost all of Paris) than his wife.
  • Juleka manages to reunite with her family not because of Anarka or Luka, who live with her, but because of Jagged, who saw her much less even before she shut herself off. Wouldn't it make more sense if either her mother or brother brought her out? Not necessarily. Juleka is aware that Anarka and Luka love her but what about her estranged father? Considering what a Shrinking Violet she is, it's not unreasonable to believe that in her depression she thought her father didn't love her. So after realizing that Jagged effectively loved her, she was able to finally face her family again.
  • Despite being good friends with Marinette, ChloĆ© is shown to still be as cruel as canon, at least to Sabrina. So why is she siding with Marinette? Maybe she really sees her as a friend...or maybe she was smart enough to go to the right side of the conflict. And considering what came after, her being her usual nasty self to her former classmates would be considered a proper punishment by most of the people in-universe.
    • Plus, Marinette accepting ChloĆ© firing a maid just because "she's unsettling" is subtle Foreshadowing that she didn't really change for the best.
  • Nathaniel being the only one to not be bullied because people simply forgot about him, while harsh, makes sense. In the show, Nathaniel easily blends in the background and is one of the classmates that got the least development out of all of them, along Ivan. But while Ivan stands out, being a big guy, Nathaniel can easily go unnoticed.
  • Despite being named after him, Nino doesn't really stand out in his chapter. Like it was already stated, Nino is very good at appearing unassuming.
  • Lila and Marinette's confrontation has a couple of elements that might jump to the eye.
    • Lila constantly smirks while Marinette constantly frowns. Lila decided to move on from her spite but still has some of her old, less nasty traits. Marinette instead can't let go of her bitterness and is prone to anger. The two's expressions change towards the end. Marinette shows genuine surprise while Lila shows seriousness. It means Marinette can still let go of her hatred (which she will) while despite her jerkass moments, Lila has indeed changed.
    • Marinette appears mostly the same as ten years ago except for having her hair down and her face having aged. Lila has grown a lot in all the right places and is much taller, to the point of towering over Marinette. Lila truly changed for the better while Marinette, despite trying to convince herself of the contrary, is still stuck in the past.
  • Alix being one of two people siding with Marinette might be explained by her future self giving her a warning. And given that she's not mentioned after that, she may have been taken away by her future self as well, both to train her to be a Miraculous user and also from the fallout of Lila's arrest.
