Tiger Fangs is a 1943 adventure film starring animal handler Frank Buck as a fictional version of himself.

Frank and his allies work to stop Nazi saboteurs from doping tigers in Malaya, thereby causing them to attack humans and affect the allied war effort.


Tiger Tropes:

  • Animal Assassin: Gratz plants a leopard in Linda's room in an attempt on her life.
  • Bad People Abuse Animals:
    • Dr. Lang subjecting tigers to inhumane experiments (and that he releases the poor creatures so they can attack the rubber manufacturers) establishes him as a cruel individual.
    • Lang's accomplice Henry and his assistant are introduced tormenting a tiger, invoking Frank's ire.
  • Chemically-Induced Insanity: Dr. Lang and his accomplice, Henry, drug tigers to make them attack humans.
  • Fed to the Beast: Dr. Lang's drugs cause the local tiger population to attack the locals, including the rubber manufacturers.
  • Great White Hunter: Frank is a capable animal handler who is tasked to prevent tiger attacks.
  • Herr Doktor: Dr. Lang is an amoral scientist from Nazi Germany.
  • Mad Doctor: Dr. Lang is a Nazi physician who drugs tigers to drive them to attack people.
  • Slimeball: Henry is a morally repugnant individual out for his own personal gain, and who is willing to do horrible things such as releasing wild animals against people to save his own worthless hide.
