Film: One Night Stand

Max Carlyle (Wesley Snipes) is an African-American commercial director from Los Angeles with an Asian-American wife (Ming-Na Wen) and two children. He flies to New York for a meeting while visiting his friend Charlie (Robert Downey, Jr.), who happens to be gay and is HIV-positive. During one meeting, Max lays eyes on a white woman named Karen (Nastassja Kinski), and the two engage in an affair. Following their one night stand, Max heads back home to his family. A year has passed, and Charlie is dying of AIDS. Max heads back to New York with Mimi to be by Charlie's bedside and while in his hospital room, he meets Charlie's brother Vernon (Kyle MacLachlan), who then introduces Max to his wife, who is none other than Karen! Max and Karen must live up to tell their spouses about their affair, before it is too late.
