* Comments: This author is a professor of Medieval History, and her stories are always incredibly detailed, obviously well done and all around lovely. Her longest fic to date (June 2013) is a [[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7932550/1/ 80k post-Dance epic]], but there are many one-shots as well. She usually writes Dany/Jorah and some incredibly well-done Jon/Sansa (she's the main reason for the popularity of the J/S ship in ASOIAF fanfic), but also seems to have a soft spot for Jaime as well.

* Comments: Dolorous Edditor has a knack for epic-length [[http://archiveofourown.org/works/2115015 canon-divergent]] or [[http://archiveofourown.org/works/2854958 alternate universe]] stories, mostly focusing on Jon Snow but frequently including a tremendously large cast of POV characters. Anyone enjoying novel-length stories in the ASOIAF universe should strongly consider reading any or all of his stories.
** Tentatively seconded by {{Worffan101}}. {{DolorousEdditor}} writes very well stylistically, but their plotting is somewhat weak. They also tend to make Jon and the Starks behave in a dangerously stupid manner. However, the style of the writing is good and the stories are enjoyable reads for the most part.

* Comments: A fairly prolific writer, with a number of great concepts and "What If"s behind his stories. The only major flaw from this troper's prospective is his consistent portrayal of R+L=J as a love story which goes against Lyanna's character from what we are told.
** So if you can't stomach that characterisation, best avoid this fic. [[FlameBait No need to discuss it here.]]

* Synopsis: There are things hidden in the far north, secrets buried under ice. Jon Snow faces the white walkers early, and stumbles upon a power that could change the world. It forges a new path for him and everyone around him - and a new journey south, a journey as a dragon. The world begins to change - with steel and snow, fire and blood...

* Comments: Diverges just before the Night's Watch was set to attack Mance's wildling army from the Fist of the First Men. Jon is forced to flee north and there learns of the true threat, up close and personally. In a moment of desperation he awakens the Westerosi equivalent of a nuclear weapon. Everything changes.
** Secondary comment: This story undoubtedly has the best exploration of ASOIAF worldbuilding in the fandom.

* Synopsis: "When the Lord of Winterfell dies childless, Rhaegar Targaryen decides to let the last surviving Starks return to Westeros, after thirteen years spent in exile following a failed rebellion. To Eddard Stark and his wife, itís a decade-long dream come true; to their children, born and raised in the Free Cities, itís a brave new world." An [[AlternateUniverseFic alternate universe]] in which Robert died at the trident, and what happened next. A Braavos-raised Robb finds five pups in the snow; Rhaegar is king in all but name, loved by the whole kingdom except for his second son; and a young Daenerys intrigued by Tyrion's tales of his voyage to Valyria, but even more so by Prince Aegon's idea of sailing for the East.
* Comments: Composed by a completed 13k story and its ongoing sequel, this series is beautifully written, planned out to the last detail, and manages to convince the reader that *this* is exactly what would have happened, had things gone only slightly differently. The Stark kids are born and raised in the Free Cities, and it shows, especially in Robb and Sansa; Daenerys is a naive and confident dreamer; and Ned Stark, former rebel turned mercenary, is far from being the calm, powerful lord from canon. Also, Viserys is married to Cersei, and this alone is worth the read.

* Comments: originally composed for Website/AlternateHistoryDotCom, Atri draws a brilliant story on how a young Jaime Lannister manages to strike out on his own after getting out of his father's shadow, using his knowledge of mining to become his own man. However, this rift, and Ned's with Robert, opens the door for Tywin to start influencing Robert and making him more pliant to his demands.

* Synopsis: This is an [[AlternateUniverseFic alternate universe]] that explores what would have happened if Stannis Baratheon had raised Daenerys Targaryen from infancy. (Nothing is ever the same again). It sets up this AU world for the upcoming instalments.
* Comments: The story starts almost right after Daenerys is born and Stannis goes to take Dragonstone for his brother. Personally, I thought the first chapter was beautiful. And even if we only have seven chapters for now, they're well worth the time! [[spoiler: When Stannis goes to take Dragonstone, Rhaella, in her deathbed, makes him promise he will protect Daenerys, her daughter. She was also confusing him with Steffon, his father.]]
* Pairing(s): It's mainly a Gen Fic now (keep in mind Daenerys and co are still very little), but there's the possibility of future ships, as it has been stated that Daenerys will be called Lady Dragonstone and might marry Robert's heir...

* Pairings: Rhaegar Targaryen/Lyanna Stark, Ned Stark/Catelyn Stark, various others
* Synopsis: King Aerys Targaryen's extreme paranoia delays Rhaegar's betrothal to Elia Martell until he is twenty-two. But when the King suspects the Starks of plotting against him, he breaks the betrothal to promise his eldest son to the noble house's only daughter, Lyanna Stark. The arrangement does not sit well with either party. The fourteen year old Lyanna resists her cage and her new husband; the older Rhaegar finds himself discomforted by her immaturity and willful nature. The king's madness worsens, and intrigue further interrupts the already volatile atmosphere of King's Landing. In the North, Brandon's reckless behavior puts him, and Ned, in an uncomfortable situation, while thousands of miles south, the Martells stews over the insult paid to Elia. Somewhere in the middle, a storm lord still desires the girl he was meant to have while a lioness plots her way into power. Or: Lyanna marries Rhaegar and everything happens except love at first sight.
* Comments: This fic is undoubtedly one of the best I've ever read. A lot of Rhaeger/Lyanna fics have their passionate affair be the center and ignore everything else. This one, however, focuses on how said marriage shuts down the Rebellion before it can begin, and how that affects the rest of the realm. Rhagaer and Lyanna's relationship does develop, but it's a ''very'' slow burn, as Lyanna holds no small amount of resentment over her ArrangedMarriage, while Rhaeger himself is more interested in managing the affairs of the realm than his new wife. [[ForWantOfANail Some things change]], [[InSpiteOfANail some things don't]], but it's a great read all the way, with little actual combat but lots of political tension, sub-plots, and character arcs. The fic has my favorite Rhaegar characterization by far and nails most other characters; my only qualm is that the author tends to switch between tenses, but after a few chapters I was so caught up I didn't even notice anymore.
* Rating: Mature for some sex scenes and King Aerys being, well, [[TheCaligula himself]]

* Comments: This fic explores what was going on in Sunspear from the time Myrcella arrived to just before Oberyn travelled to King's Landing for the royal wedding, and it does an amazing job fleshing out Dorne and the Dornish people, as well as highlighting the kingdom's difference from the rest of Westeros. [[OcStandIn Eglantine]] is very much [[PoliticallyIncorrectHero a product of her environment]], but such a deep and complex character that you can't help but empathize with her. Watching her develop a relationship with Arianne, who's as far from Eglantine's concept of a proper princess as possible, is such a delight.

* Comments: This is probably the best ASOIAF fanfic I have ever read. It manages to be slightly darker than it's source material, if that is even possible. It shows how Rhaegar's obsession with the prophecy affects himself and his family, as well as the kingdom. I really don't want to say much, as I don't want to spoil anything, but it is still very gripping.

* Synopsis: Still unmarried and unbetrothed, Prince Rhaegar Targaryen is urged to find a bride at the tourney at Harrenhal. With King Aerys growing more unhinged as each day passes, the Dragon Prince must secure his line in order to overthrow the Mad King. Lyanna Stark is chosen to wed the prince, much to her displeasure, and must leave the North to play princess with the dragons. But she quickly learns that the fire burns deadly in the royal family, and winter has no place in King's Landing. Hell, she finds, is empty and all the devils are at Court.
* Comments: This fic has some similarities to the previously recommended The Shadow of Your Heart by crossfirehurricane in that a Rhaegar who never married Elia goes on to marry Lyanna. The difference here is the time frame and the way the characters are portrayed. Rhaegar is shown slightly closer to how the books describe him to be, as is Lyanna. Rhaegarís obsession with the Prince Who Was Promised Prophecy is shown here quite well, and the romance between him and Lyanna is slow to build, but also feels natural as well. A well worth read.

No ''[[EverybodyLives Everybody]]'' [[EverybodyLives Lives]], is true, but an exceedingly high number of characters do, and everything seems to work out ridiculously easily most of the time, losing the realism that makes ASOIAF so heartrendingly beautiful. Same goes for characters interaction, everyone gets along too well, with no accounting for the complexity of the different personalities that makes Martin's characters POV such a great writing choice. As what is your honor and duty worth at the stake of a sister or brother. And of Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains, and Queen of Freedom Bay when finally, within grasp of her greatest desire, finds that Westeros has no desire to be liberated. Is it better to forsake vengeance and what one knows is justice for the prospect of a future out of your hands or to gamble with the lives of thousands to save millions?

Amidst all this are a prince and princess who fear themselves ruined by the horrors they've endured. Together they might be the hope their people are looking for. More importantly, they might be the dream both abandoned long ago.
* Comments: A huge fanfic which is also has one of the most interesting timeline PODís for which it diverges it, ďWhat if Aegon the Conqueror went East instead of West?Ē A grand story on an epic scale, the story stars both Prince Jonarys Targaryean(this AUís version of Jon Snow) and Princess Sansa Stark as well as a whole cast of characters who live within this world. Honestly, if I had any one complaint, itís that some of the canon extinct houses like the Gardnersís and Durrandonís are basically just the Tyrellís and Baratheonís with their last names renamed. Still itís a great fic and I highly recommend it.

Over half a million words long, the writing style is very similar to that of GRRMís books, and is very clearly modeled after the way he wrote them. Like GRRM he isnít afraid of killing off characters either, in fact he is currently tied with GRRM in his kill count. I would highly suggest giving this a read. Itís quite worth it.
** Decent writing, but Jon is a real idiot in this one. The author's weak plotting skills are starting to really show in more recent chapters, which is a shame because they've got the style down pat. - {{Worffan101}}

* Synopsis: Rhaegar, Viserys, and Daenerys are the children of Aerys and Rhaella we all know, their other siblings dying in childbirth or the cradle. But what if they had lived? This story is an AU where four more of the Mad King’s children grew to adulthood. A world where Daenerys had six older siblings instead of two. King Rhaegar rules over the Seven Kingdoms, a land divided in its loyalties while old wounds still linger after Rhaegar's Rebellion against the Mad King. Princess Daenerys, youngest of the kingís siblings, has grown up at a court full of dragons and powerful families, most vying for greater power. While some dream of a resurgent Targaryen dynasty, others foster their own ambitions toward the Iron Throne.
* Comments: In a case of three out of three, the newest fic by [[http://archiveofourown.org/users/DolorousEdditor/pseuds/DolorousEdditor DolorousEdditor]], A Time for Dragons is the story where the all of Rhaegar, Viserys, and Daenerys other siblings who died before reaching adulthood where able to live. While still relatively new, itís already great and considering the author, this fic rightly deserves this recommendation.

* 'Synopsis: (Modern AU with Sansa/Willas) When Sansaís father is murdered, she is forced into hiding in the care of an old friend of her motherís. She doesnít trust Petyr though, doesnít trust the way he looks at her, and when a job at a coffee shop around the corner offers a refuge, she grabs the opportunity with both hands.
** Seconded by {{Sharysa}}. In addition to the devastation that the fic puts Sansa through, the reincarnation subplot is refreshingly realistic about reincarnation. It focuses on life patterns, innate recognition (or the need to ''avoid'' getting recognized), trying to juggle past-life memories with current ones, and the haphazard attempts of various people to learn from their past-life mistakes, as opposed to "OMG TRUE LOVE."

* Synopsis: Jon goes the opposite way, to the Narrow Sea instead of the Wall. Based on the prompt: "For a whole year he'd been dreaming of going to the East and join the Golden Company, with the Blackfyres and the men of the Free Cities. A place where no one would have cared what his name meant, where most people would've said, Snow? We don't get it here, and laughed it all away."
* Comments: More of a [[ForWantOfANail for want of a nail]] kind of fic than a full-fledged AU, the idea alone is worth the read. The story itself is quite well done - the author takes our relative lack of information about the Free Cities and runs with it, filling in the blanks with interesting customs and awesome characters. It also follows the original canon and timeline quite closely, and the characterization is really good.

Now, with the war over and her younger brother, the last male heir to Winterfell, off at the Wall, Eddara (please, call me Ned) assumes responsibilities as the Lady of Winterfell, Warden of the North, and the false mother to the bastard babe Jon Snow.
* Comments: This fic [[GenderFlip Gender Flips]] Ned Stark and Catelyn Tully (now called Keith or Kit) and it all changes from there. [[ActionGirl Eddara]] retains all her male counterpart's titles and authorities but with entirely different consequences; the contrast is an effective study of gender roles in Westeros without being {{Anvilicious}}. And if anyone finds out, they'll be in terrible trouble. If you are expecting anything other than shameless smut, you are in the wrong place. Each drabble is exactly 100 words.
* Comments: This fic is simply amazing. The characterization is dead on, and the writing style is vivid and sparkles. The author is able to do quite a bit with 100 words, and the dynamics between Sansa and Tywin (particularly during the scene on the plane) are just gorgeous.

* Comments: An odd combination of a HighSchoolAU and PeriodFic, ''Game of Stacks'' is both ''Series/GameOfThrones'' in a modern world educational system as well as the implied future of Westeros. The characterization is spot on, with wonderful little changes thrown in to each character to modernize them to the setting.

* Synopsis: What if Ned wasn't beheaded in King's Landing and Catelyn didn't die at the Red Wedding?
* Comments: While it's summary sounds very similar to the above-mentioned Fanfic/NedStarkLives, this one is very different in that most of the events of the books stay the same for a while since Ned is still thought dead by the rest of Westeros, so people act largely as they do in canon. Once Ned makes his return, things focus almost solely on Ned and Catelyn's relationship and their quest to reunite their children, making for a ''very'' emotional ride.
** Don't recommend it. Overall, not a bad fic but DKNC is a very heavy Ned/Cat shipper and this troper felt like too much airtime was given to Ned/Cat relationship rather than trying to write an ASOIAF story. Things felt a bit off, likely because of the heavy shipping and the poor pacing. It picked up once [[spoiler: the Others invaded the North, but the Others began crossing into the North in Chapter 45, attacked Winterfell in Chapter 61, driven away in Chapter 65 and there was still another 19 chapters to go in the story, where nothing important happened.]] Game of Thrones was 300k words; DKNC tripled that with fluff and padding.
** Seconded. DKNC is a good writer, but the fluff and romance overload here is absurd. That said, if you ship Ned and Cat, this is the fic for you.

* Synopsis: some time after Aegon's Conquest, Torrhen Stark found a type of cattle that fitted very well in the harsh winters of the North, so he started to promote its breeding and ranching. Three hundred years later, the North is well populated and incredibly rich, the Old Gods are widely worshipped, greenseers and skinchangers are a normal sight in every city and town, a canal connects the Narrow Sea and the Sunset Sea through the Neck, Winterfell is one of the greatest cities in Westeros and Eddard Stark is well-beloved by the North. But when Jon Arryn dies, Robert Baratheon comes north, and things begin to move...
* Comments: a very interesting, extremely well-written story, where such a simple thing as a cow leads to a more powerful, better developed North and to create a society that is alien yet so familiar to those that have read the books. For example, even though Winterfell is incredibly huge, it still has the feeling of home for the Stark characters, and the Starks have a large number of cadet branches (even the Greystarks, who in canon were wiped out to a man) that provide a lot to the new society, including a large court of Northern ladies around Sansa. Of course, the changes are not all for good: the canal leads to Dorne hating the North - since the former do not have as many ships appearing in their ports - while Theon is worse adjusted to a very different Winterfell since Robb and him are not friends. Very highly recommended if you like the Starks.

* Synopsis: The killing of Mad King Aerys Targaryen by person or persons unknown worked out well for virtually everyone, including Jaime Lannister. Disgraced for failing his king (if only they knew) and tasked with protecting no-longer-a-Princess Rhaenys Targaryen until she can be wed to Robertís eldest legitimate son (whenever Robert gets around to producing one), Jaime must go north with the Starks (a prickly, judgmental lot) to look after her. Cold, bored, and guarding a five-year-old, Jaime might yet learn to be a truly honourable knight Ė but even far from King's Landing and Cersei, his dangerous secrets might catch up with him. Worse, his aren't the only dangerous secrets in the NorthÖ
* Comments: An AU divergence where Jaime never took credit for killing the Mad King and ended up saving Princess Rhaenys. As "reward" for saving the last Targaryen, King Robert [[ReassignedToAntarctica ships]] him off to Winterfell with their new ward. The long separation between himself and Cersei and his prolonged proximity to the Starks... slowly changes him in a believable manner. The addition of [[OCStandIn Rhaenys]] into the mix also brings a new change in the dynamic, especially for Jon and the rest of the Stark children, with its own set of consequences in that subplot. All in all, this is a fic that attempts to humanise Jaime Lannister and I think it does a fairly good job. That isn't to say he won't jump Cersei's bones every chance he gets, however.
** Extremely good AU. It also doesn't shy away from making characters doing unlikeable things. For instance many fics seem to make Catelyn suddenly fine with [[spoiler: Jon being the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna. Here, she's more realistically horrified and demanded Ned to send him away, because Jon's heritage can get her entire family executed.]] The author also nailed down Cersei, brushing just enough on her paranoia and ambitions without turning her into a caricature.

* Comments: Brossart is a master on writing creepy characters and doesn't shy away from the fact that Roose, Ramsay and Drucilla are from the Bolton bloodlines. There is no leather-pansting of Ramsay or Roose and Drucilla's character as Roose's daughter fits perfectly into the ASOIAF universe. A must read for those who is a fan of House Bolton, flaying and all.

* Comments: Much like the synopsis says, Harry fell through the veil and landed in Westeros as a child and through a series of events, he fell under the protection of Ned Stark after saving his life during an ambuse in Robert's Rebellion. The story actually starts with the events of ''Game of Thrones'' and any details of his life in Westeros before then is discussed through dialogue with the other characters. Fair warning that Harry might come across as too powerful to some people, however he is hardly omnipotent [[spoiler: as demonstrated by his inability to prevent Ned Stark's beheading]] nor does he always make the best decisions. This story is quite well-written, though the author doesn't seem to update very regularly, with his last update having been in April. It also seems to be following the original plot laid out by GRRM so far, albeit with some deviations especially in Chapter 6.
** This troper isn't sure about this fic. Harry is overpowered, [[spoiler: Ned's execution, the author admitted, was kept for plot reasons. Sansa's situation also seems to be for the same reason.]] The author also has trouble keeping Harry's back story straight and has him making plans that characters think are amazing but are really full of holes. Add some spelling errors, the worst being [[spoiler: Robert Lannister]], and unrealistic interactions between characters. It could be a good fic but the author needs a beta, to fully plan out Harry's back story and rebuild this story from the ground up.

* Crossover with ''VisualNovel/FateStayNight''
* ''Synopsis'': After Saber destroyed the Holy Grail in the 4th war, a dark and icy being kills Angra Mainyu and hijacks the ritual. In the 5th War, it is no longer a war for the Grail, but a Trial of Seven. Seven Servants are summoned who superficially resemble the classic Servant Classes, but in reality, they are champions of the seven gods who make up the Faith of the Seven: The Father, The Mother, The Maiden, The Smith, The Warrior, The Crone, and The Stranger. Shirou still summons Saber, and now, they must cope with seven totally different Servants than Saber is used to and a war with different stakes.
* ''Status'': Dormant

* Pairings: Mike!Edmure Tully[=/=]Carolyn!Myranda Royce, Ned/Catelyn, Brynden Tully/Roslyn Frey, Jon Snow/Mya Stone, Arya/Gendry?, Bran/Myrcella
* Synopsis: an American engineer called Michael Killian awakes after a night drinking binge in the body (and mind) of Edmure Tully, heir to Riverrun. Using his extensive engineering (and scientific) knowledge, Mike begins to work in making life for the people of Westeros easier, by bringing new innovations like better agricultural equipment or the printing press. He soon discovers the existence of a second American, Carolyn Johnson, a nurse who has become Myranda Royce and has started to build up her own trade ventures and her modern medicine knowledge to become one of the most important women in the Seven Kingdoms. Between the two of them, they begin to work on helping the Seven Kingdoms modernize for whatever may happen in the future, but they do not know that the future may happen much sooner than they expected...
** While there are parts of the premise that are somewhat tough to believe - how fast Mike introduces firearms to his army, for example - it is quite the interesting work. If anything, the worst thing that this can be accused of is that updates were not chronologically organized, and {{Retcon}}s were applied to fit readers' suggestions or other ideas. Still, it is well worth the time to read.

* 2154: a mega-corporation makes the discovery of the ages when they find three perfectly habitable planets in the Epsilon Eridani System. As it turns out, all three are already inhabited ... and by humans no less! Book 1 follows the adventures of The Company on just one of these three worlds - a world of swords and sorcery, of thrills and chills, of Ice and Fire ...
* Comments; The first part of what will 'at least' be a trilogy, Django has said future instalments will cross over more with 'Lord Of The Rings' and 'Warhammer Fantasy'.
** WordOfGod says it is based on a mix of both the book and the show universes, along with a few other changes for the sake of the story
** A very interesting story with a good plot and several important themes. In particular, it explores the morality of the actions of every faction (particularly those of the Earth humans towards the Westerosi, whom they regard as primitive and are consequently treated and regarded like colonial subjects). It also explores the many, many instances of ValuesDissonance between a medieval society and a 22nd century spacefaring modern society, as well the sharp divide among the Westerosi caused by the arrival of a more advanced civilization between those who wish to modernize and those who wish to remain as they are, with compelling arguments on both sides. Overall, very well written and thought provoking.
** Generally funny and interesting, but the Westerosi characters can feel a little flat at times. Especially when [[spoiler:the author has the Lannisters use Nazi salutes and Nazi-inspired salutations]]. Recommended for a good laugh, don't take it ''too'' seriously.

* Status: Ongoing, "Books 1 and 2" are complete
* Pairings: Sean/Catelyn, Robb/Roslyn Frey, [[spoiler:possibly Arya/Olyvar Frey]].
* Synopsis: after the last day of filming Ned Stark's scenes for Series/GameOfThrones, Sean Bean receives a present: an armor to "protect" him in his next job. He goes to sleep, and when he wakes up the next day, he does so in White Harbor the day after Ned Stark is killed. Sean Bean must then act in the role of his life as the real Ned Stark, not only to bring Ned Stark's family back together, but also to bring peace to Westeros before the Others appear and the Long Winter begins.
** It is probably one of the most interesting ideas to ever be written in the field of Literature/ASongOfIceAndFire's [[MentalTimeTravel ISOTs]]. The fact that Sean must use his wits, what he has learned in a lifetime of acting and every bit of knowledge he remembers from the books (passing it off as things the Old Gods have told him) only adds to the awesomeness of the story. His actions also change many things, preventing problems that happened in the books and TV series from ever taking place - such as marrying Robb as soon as possible. His inner monologues about how different things are to when he did them in the series are also quite hilarious, such as when he mentally compares every person in Westeros to their actor or actress equivalents (not to mention how wild Catelyn becomes in bed).
** Also contains one of the most morbidly hilarious deaths [[spoiler:Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish]] could ever suffer: [[spoiler:stabbed by Sandor Clegane, who pisses into his mouth as he dies, just before he can escape King's Landing with Sansa.]]
** Now with a second book, complete with a truly epic battle sequence and a fantastic [[spoiler:duel between Grey Wind and Loras Tyrell]] as a finale.

* Synopsis: Lord Walder Frey dies bedding his eighth wife just after his wedding. A death that just changes everything for Westeros ...

* Recommended by Troper/{{rhodes7}}, Mei-may, tpyrene
* Status: ongoing.
* Synopsis: Joffrey Baratheon is run through a GroundhogDay loop, where every time he dies he goes back to the beginning of a Game of Thrones, eventually, he becomes a decent human being, a competent fighter, a scholar and who knows? Perhaps one day a worthy king.
* Has a [[Fanfic/PurpleDays trope page]].
* Comments: Absolutely phenomenal story. It first makes you laugh and cheer for Joffrey's repeating deaths, then makes you pity him and finally, makes you root for him and want to see him succeed in his quests. The characterizations and character development are detailed and interesting, even for the {{OCs}}. The world building is also another strong point of the story. Warning though, some chapters are really, really long.
* Comments: This is delightful. It takes literally centuries, but eventually the despicable and despised Joffrey is transformed from a worm into a great leader and an actually good person.

* Synopsis: Theon Greyjoy was barely eight when his father's rebellion was crushed, and he was sent to ward with the Starks. When he arrived, though, his mind became filled with the memories of a [[SelfInsertFic Andrew J. Talon]], along with a lot of information about engineering, metallurgy, sciences... and this leads to a heavily modernized and industrialized North that, when the War of the Five Kings comes, is much better prepared to fight. However, the threat of the Others is coming, and Theon must help his brother-in-all-but-name win this war fast so the North can deal with the true enemy that comes from Beyond the Wall...
* Has a [[Fanfic/GreyjoyAllaBreve trope page]].
* Comments: Awesome story. Very well done, fun, and in spite of the introduction of modern industry and weaponry still distiles the ''A Song of Ice and Fire'' essence.

Now, we all know how much that the Lannisters love incest, so undoubtedly, trouble isn't far away.
* Comments: There are some hysterically funny scenes in this one, ranging from Hodor forcing Jaime to dance with him at a feast, to Littlefinger selling Jaime as a whore for only a few silvers, to a sex scene told from Hodor's point of view. You have been warned - there is a lot of foul language.
