"What If Deku was Spider-Man" is a series of videos detailing what would the world of My Hero Academia be like if Izuku Midoriya had the powers of Spider-Man. The series is made by KïDD ZêÜSS Studios who is responsible for What if Deku was One Punch Man? and What if Deku was Trained by Batman?.

- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: Unlike in canon, Midoriya has a close relationship with his father, Hisashi. This all serves the purpose in leading up to the tragedy where Hisashi died.
- Composite Character: Izuku has Peter Parker's powers and origin. He also has additional abilities from Miles Morales.
- Part of Izuku's origin is based on Bruce Wayne's origin.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Izuku easily defeats Shinso much to the audiences' disappointment since they feel its anti-climatic. However, this sours Izuku's relationship with Shinso even more.
- Dark Is Not Evil: Spider-Man dons a darker version of his costume to help in his night patrols.
- Evil vs. Evil: Norman Osborn starts hunting down for the League of Villains after they stole the Venom symbiote from him.
- For Want Of A Nail: When Midoriya gains Spider powers, several events deviate from the anime canon.
- Izuku handled the Sludge villain far better and helped All Might in taking him down. Consequently, All Might's secret as a Quirkless is not exposed to Izuku.
- All Might did not suffer major injuries from the Nomu because the latter was severely weakened from the Venom symbiote. Look into Nice Job Fixing It, Villain.
- Izuku won the U.A. Sports Festival.
- Izuku chooses Miruko to train under.
- Hero with Bad Publicity: Downplayed. The Hero Association does see Spider-Man as a reckless vigilante but the public simply doesn't care and sees him as much a hero as All Might or Endeavor.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain:
- Bakugo gets manipulated by Izuku's goading into accidentally hitting Iida.
- The League of Villains stole the Venom symbiote and give it to their already powerful Nomu in hopes to further improve their odds against All Might. However once the symbiote is removed, the Nomu is far less capable in taking down All Might because the symbiote has severely weakened its Quirks.
- One-Steve Limit: Izuku chooses to be named Spider-Man eventhough his classmates point out that the name has already being taken by the infamous vigilante. However given what his powers are, the argument is easily disregarded.
- Sanity Slippage:
Word of God confirms that Bakugo will undergo this and will become Venom. - "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Bakugo refuses to accept his defeat by Izuku and yells that the latter doesnt' deserve to be the Number One Hero. Izuku, on the other hand, calls Bakugo out that his explosive temper and blatant disregard towards others are the real reasons he cannot be the Number One Hero, let alone be an actual hero.Katsuki Bakugo: No, you don't get to feel any pity towards me. Only those who are stronger than me and you're not stronger than I am. You damn nerd. I'm supposed to be the Number One. Not You. Me!Izuku Midoriya: You don't deserve Number One, Kacchan. The way you treat people is not how a hero should act. Before you become a hero, you need to fix that otherwise you'll be a trash hero just like the person you are.
- Took a Level in Badass: Thanks to having these powers, Izuku is far more confident and able to frequently put his foot down against Bakugo.
- Villain with Good Publicity: Oscorp and by extent, the Life Foundation.
- You Fight Like a Cow: Izuku uses this much like Spidey. He prominently uses this against Bakugo.
- You Killed My Father: Izuku's entire goal as Spider-Man is to hunt down and bring his father's murderer to justice.
