is, get this, a rewrite fanfic of Ultimate Marvel by Silentman87The story tracks alterations by time traveler Kang, from Ultimatum onwards in an attempt to avert disaster.

- Adaptation Name Change: Miles Morales takes on the name Scarlet Spider as opposed to Spider Man or Kid Arachnid.
- The Bus Came Back: The Scorpion Clone of Peter returns, being rewritten by Kang to serve as a stand in while Peter is lost in the void. Scorpion plays the role of Peter from Ultimatum to the Death of Spider Man where he is killed off.
- The Chessmaster: Kang is a time traveling one, manipulating events to save Peter, killing several people who weren't slated to die and inspiring S.H.I.E.L.D to pin Ultimatum on Doom to name a few.
- "Freaky Friday" Flip: At the end of the void Arc Edge of Time Alchemax CEO Peter transfers his mind into an enhanced clone of Ultimate Peter, made from his and Arachne's DNA. Upon confronting Ultimate Peter he overpowers and fatally wounds him, only for Otto Octavius to switch their bodies, leaving Ultimate Peter in a new and improved body, and EOT Peter dying.
- Mythology Gag:
- Arachne is revealed to be an alternate Jessica Drew. In the comics this name is used by Julia Carpenter, Jessica previously used her as an alias while going undercover
- Because of Otto Octavius, Peter Parker swapped bodies with a dying foe. However here the Peter Parker in question was the Big Bad of Spider-Man: Edge of Time in a cloned body and the dying foe was Ultimate Peter himself.
- Screw Yourself: The primary romance of the story is a slow burn between Peter Parker and Jessica Drew, his Opposite-Sex Clone.
- Spared by the Adaptation:
- Taken in a very complex way Peter Parker. Ultimately, yes Peter survives his canon death but 3 Peter Parker's die first. First Edge of Time Peter transfers his consciousness into a improved clone of Ultimate Peter, causing his original body to die. Then he fatally wounds Ultimate Peter, but their bodies are swapped so EOT Peter dies in Ultimate Peter's body. Finally the Scorpion clone, who was reprogrammed to take Peter's place while he was in the void, takes Punisher's bullet for Steve, like canon Peter, and actually dies in the arms of real Peter.
- The Dog Bites Back: The Otto responsible for the "Freaky Friday" Flip that saves Ultimate Peter and kills EOT Peter was the lackey of the latter, who killed him previously, unaware of the AI backup he left behind.
- Took a Level in Badass: The cloned body Peter acquires in the void was modified with Arachne's DNA, as a result he possess Stingers and is faster and stronger than his old body.
