‘’Truer Than Fiction
’’ is a ACTUALLY HAPPENED fanfic series by CMR Rosa and brennivin.

- An Aesop: “Crime Does Not Pay Nor Justifies” has a couple of lessons: true family members don’t force their offspring to commit a crime, and having a sympathetic reason to commit does not justify it.
- The Atoner: “School Rumors Are Dangerous” features Nate still trying to make up for getting his tutor fired by spreading an idiotic rumor about her.
- Both Sides Have a Point: In “My Stepmother From Thailand Has a Surprise”, Emma and Mali both admit they made serious mistakes when trying to build a new family and are both trying to work through them.
- Broken Pedestal: In “Crimes Does Not Pay Nor Justifies’’, Rick comes to terms with accepting his father was a sorry excuse of a human for dragging him into criminal activity.
- Continuation: This series is several stories that serve as a continuation of the ‘’Actually Happened’’ Web series, picking up where the stories left off, tying up the loose ends of the original story, and giving character arcs to the characters from the stories.
