What’s In The Egg?

Still reeling from Princess Bubblegum’s cold shoulder after his disastrous stunt, Finn sees an opportunity to salvage his relationship with the Princess when he and Jake stumble upon an egg. But will whatever dwells in the egg offer to Finn more than simply a way to make amends? Sequel to You Blew It Finn, By Red Witch.

- Egg MacGuffin: The story's central premise is Finn and Jake finding a mysterious egg.
- Immaturity Insult: Princess Bubblegum belittles Finn as a pathetic little child for letting his obsession with a girl cloud his judgment to such a horrible degree.
- Never My Fault: While Finn knows he screwed up by setting the Ice King and Flame Princess up for a fight, he still views the cold shoulder from Princess Bubblegum as an overreaction.
- Once Done, Never Forgotten: Princess Bubblegum still hasn’t forgiven Finn for his idiotic stunt as of this story, with him still being banished from the Candy Kingdom and only very reluctantly allowing him to help raise the egg.
- Rejected Apology: Princess Bubblegum makes very clear that no apology from Finn will ever make up for his dangerous stunt with Flame Princess.
- Silent Treatment: Princess Bubblegum still refuses to acknowledge Finn’s existence after his idiotic treatment of the Flame Princess, even when he and Jake bring her the mysterious egg. Finn finds this to be very ice-cold.
