Go To

After Lieutenant Stephanie Trevor crashes on Themiscyra, Diana resolves to return with her to Man's World and fight for the revolution. But the Syndicalists are not the only ones with Wonders on their side...

The People's Princess - Tales of the Wonder Woman by theg*ddam*hoi2fan brings the characters of the DC universe into the world of Kaiserreich, focusing primarily on the Second American Civil War.

Tropes:

  • Ace Pilot: Stephanie Trevor. She quickly masters the Amazonian sky-sailer, and has saved Diana's bacon more than once.
  • Action Girl: Practically overflowing with them. Aside from the title character, you have most of the named female DC characters, from Renee Montoya to Kara Danvers. The Syndicalists also have plenty of non-powered women in their armed forces, including Stephanie Trevor and Amelia Earhart.
  • Broad Strokes: While the setting is generally based on Kaiserreich, there are some deviations (beyond the inclusion of DC characters):
    • The Syndicalists, here called the USSA (United Syndicalist States of America), are less overtly revolutionary, and are generally viewed as the legitimate US government. The Pacific states aren't getting involved in the fighting, but officially recognize Reed as President, and most of the US Navy remained loyal to Reed (as opposed to canon, where the CSA starts off with no navy, and the Pacific states officially denounce Reed, Long, and MacArthur.
    • T.E. Lawrence shows no sign of secret monarchist tendencies.
  • Canon Marches On: T. E. Lawrence is affiliated with the Union of Britain, and leads a unit tasked with studying extraordinary people and technologies. Since the story was first posted, a rework of Kaiserreich canon has placed Lawrence as an exile in Canada.
  • Child Soldier: Leon Murphy is twelve.
  • Chummy Commies: The Syndicalists are generally portrayed this way. Totalists, not so much.
  • Historical Hero Upgrade: General Sam Lane, normally an antagonist in the comics, is the USSA's senior general on the eastern front.
  • Sanity Slippage: General MacArthur has clearly gone insane, referring to himself in the third person and being unable to accept that he cannot win.
