The Lost Destinies is a six-book Warrior Cats fanfiction by an author who goes by the name of Evelyn.

The plot revolves around three Clans: FireClan, WaterClan, and IceClan and three Dark Forest cats who want to overthrow them.

There are six main characters: Robinheart, Ravenwing, Puddlestep, Fernshine, Shadowdusk, and Petaldawn.

This fanfic provides examples of:

• Abusive Parents: Berryflower, Shadowpaw and Petalpaw's mother, is set to be one. She clearly likes Shadowpaw over Petalpaw, but when Shadowpaw calls her out in this, she is heartbroken, realizing what she's done.
• Accidental Misnaming: The FireClan cats confuse Lilypaw's name as Littlepaw in Lilystar's Choice.
• All Your Base Are Belong to Us: IceClan's raid on FireClan's camp in Taking Flight.
• Betty and Veronica:
  • Gender-flipped. Robinheart(Archie) has to choose between Adorkable, friendly Puddlestep(Betty) and the more impulsive Patchfur(Veronica).
  • Shadowdusk(Archie) has to choose between nice, kind Orchidheart(Betty) and grumpy Ravenwing(Veronica).
• Big Bad: The three Dark Forest cats: Berrytail, Shadedleaf, and Ashenfur.
• Cloud Cuckoo Lander: Silvercloud.
• Ensemble Cast: The main characters, Robinheart, Ravenwing, Puddlestep, Fernshine, Shadowstorm, and Petaldawn all get equal time to shine in their respective books.
• Expy: Berryflower is an expy of Rainflower, with her favoritism of Shadowpaw over Petalpaw.
  • However, this is later subverted, as when Shadowpaw calls her out on it, she runs away, heartbroken. It leads to her death.
• Hearing Voices:
  • It first starts with Skystar, who starts hearing Ashenfur's voice in her head, leading to the fight against FireClan and Brightstar's death.
  • Ravenwing hears Ashenfur's voice in her head, who is disguised as Dustystar, a previous FireClan leader.
  • Fernpaw hears Shadedleaf's voice in her head, disguised as Creekstar, Shadedleaf's mother and a previous WaterClan leader.
• "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: The fight against Fernpaw, who has been corrupted by Shadedleaf, in Icy Chills.
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold:
  • Ravenwing is grumpy, and blunt, but she cares for her family and friends, and is loyal to her Clan.
  • Shadowdusk’s sister, Petaldawn. She is tough, stubborn, and snarky, but she has a kind side to her. She mellows out as the series progresses.
• Undying Loyalty: Shadowdusk to his Clan and his sister, Petaldawn.
