Stilled by Style Queen
(on AO3) is an Alternate Universe Fic made by RockSunner, for Miraculous Ladybug. Part of the Smart Adversaries AU for Miraculous Ladybug on AO3, in which Ladybug villains make smarter decisions. The series has a tropes page here.

This fanfiction series contains examples of:
- Adaptation Name Change: The Bee hero in this AU is named Belle Abeille (chosen by Alya from a French children's song — it means "Beautiful Bee").
- Alternate Universe Fic: A What If? with the change that Style Queen turns against Chloé earlier, making her into a glitter statue before they leave the Agreste Mansion. This changes the timing of events at the Eiffel Tower and Alya becomes the bee hero.
- Ascended Extra: Alya, who didn't get to do much in the canon episode, here gets to be the Bee, the Bee-Ladybug fusion, and the Ladybug hero to save Marinette. Later she becomes the full-time Ladybug holder.
- Bittersweet Ending: Marinette gets to go to New York to make her dreams come true. Alya and Kim become the new Ladybug and Cat. Chloé and Sabrina will continue Hawk Moth's crimes, in the hope that Chloé can wish for her mother's love.
- Compelling Voice: When Marinette is akumatized into Cerulean, this is her super-power. Anyone who hears her voice must obey her.
- Dramatic Irony: After Style Queen captures Ladybug and places her next to the petrified Adrien, Hawk Moth says that they will force Ladybug to reveal Chat Noir's location. "We'll soon have both of them here, side by side," he says, unaware that this has already happened.
- For Want Of A Nail: Chloé does not get the Bee Miraculous and therefore has no comeback when her mother says she is not extraordinary. She runs off, saying she will prove herself someday.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Because of the change in timing (no conversation on the tower with Chloé), it is Ladybug who blocks a shot from Style Queen to protect Alya, and Alya gets away with the Bee Miraculous.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Scarabella uses this against Cerulean, allowing her to take away her yo-yo and use it, unaware that Scarabella has added a feature that turned it into a trap.
- In Spite of a Nail: Chloé gets a Miraculous after all, the Butterfly, when she intercepts the hand-off when Gabriel tries to return the Miraculous to Ladybug. She also gets the Peacock and the grimoire.
- Literal Genie: When Marinette is akumatized as Cerulean, she has orders to command Audrey not to leave Chloé behind. They conclude that one simple way to do that is to kill Chloé so she will not exist to be left behind. With the mental link down they get no correction from Queen Butterfly.
- Logical Weakness: When used by a young person Nooroo has to be fed after five minutes just like any other kwami when his main power is used. This breaks the link to the akumatized person.
- Repeat After Me: When Catman gets his power phrase wrong, Cerulean says, "Say Cataclysm, you fool!" and Catman repeats "Cataclysm, you fool!".
- Shout-Out:
- The idea that Pollen eats chili peppers is from Scarlet Lady.
- Nooroo prefers marigold flower nectar, another nod to the above webcomic.
- Marinette and her friends watch the movie The Devil Wears Prada and Marinette's reaction to it gets her akumatized.
- Taken for Granite: Ladybug not only gets petrified by Style Queen but is soon after brought back to life but embedded in a solid glitter block with only her head sticking out.
