Entrapta and Hordak adjust to life with their new clone family - With varying results of success.

Purple is a She-Ra and the Princesses of Power fanfic by Purpledragon6, and can be read by Archive of Our Own here.

Purple provides examples of:

  • Aloof Big Brother: Having the most experience being independent from Horde Prime's Hive Mind, Hordak unwittingly took on this role for Wrong Hordak/Kadroh and the dozens of clones Entrapta provided sanctuary for. Hordak being... well... Hordak, he is grouchy and reluctant in this role, but he behaves for Entrapta and basic decency for his new family.
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Hordak and Wrong Hordak/Kadroh develop an "Aloof Big Brother/excitable little brother" dynamic with each other, Entrapta inviting Wrong Hordak/Kadroh to live with them.
  • Bait-and-Switch: When it is revealed that Wrong Hordak/Kadroh is in some kind of relationship with someone, having asked several people about the subject of love, Hordak accidentally convinces Wrong Hordak/Kadroh to introduce this person to him. He brings in an affectionate dog, and with Wrong Hordak/Kadroh's "quirky disposition", Hordak tries thinking of a way to explain to him that one does not romance a non-sapient dog... only for him to introduce the dog's owner as this special person.
Wrong Hordak/Kadroh: Thats funny, brother. Based on how you acted, I assumed you were under the impression that I was in love with the dog.
  • Cartesian Karma: While Horde Prime is gone, his modified vessel (the clone with Prehensile Hair cables and four eyes) is alive and is now just another Horde clone on Etheria. While Hordak recognizes him as a different person, Entrapta is very suspicious of him and is gobsmacked that Hordak is offering him a home at Dryl.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Wrong Hordak/Kadroh asked several people what love is like and Catra's definition is "when you don't want anyone else to be around someone." Hordak rightfully points out that Catra isn't exactly the kind of person you ask about such a topic.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: The first thing Hordak did to return to some semblance of normalcy was dye his hair blue and his eyes and mouth red like it originally was. Taking a page from him, the various Horde clones that now populate Etheria have their own dyed colors as a way of learning how to be independent, Wrong Hordak/Kadroh adopting Entrapta's shade of purple in particular.
  • Everybody Has Standards: Entrapta isn't the sort of person to hold a grudge to any capacity, but she draws the line when it comes to Horde Prime. Or rather, she is incredibly suspicious of Horde Prime's modified clone vessel, now with a different personality with Horde Prime purged by She-Ra.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Here, Wrong Hordak took on the nickname the fandom gave him "Kadroh" (which is just "Hordak" spelled backwards).
