Party Crusher
is an Alternate Universe Fic made by RockSunner, for Miraculous Ladybug. Part of the Smart Adversaries AU for Miraculous Ladybug on AO3, in which Ladybug villains make smarter decisions. The series has a tropes page here.

This fanfiction series contains examples of:
- Alternate Universe Fic: A What If? with the change that Party Crasher notices Master Fu's presence behind a parked car when he tries to hold back Chat Noir, with the result that Master Fu is captured before he can distribute any Miraculous and both Ladybug and Chat Noir are delivered into Hawk Moth's clutches.
- And I Must Scream: Hawk Moth intends to imprison his enemies in Party Crasher's mirrors forever, fully conscious but unable to move.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Bunnyx and Pegasus sacrifice themselves by changing the timeline so that Party Crasher is never created. This wipes out their own timeline and their own existence.
- His Name Is...: Subverted. Bunnyx and Pegasus are only able to get out that Hawk Moth is in the Agreste mansion before vanishing from existence, but Ladybug and Chat Noir are able to figure out from that that he's almost certainly Gabriel Agreste.
- Hypocrite: In Chapter 2, Hawk Moth chides Adrien for keeping secrets and sneaking out. Three seconds later, Marinette deduces he's Gabriel, and Adrien calls him out for keeping secrets and sneaking out.
- My Future Self and Me: While it's not directly commented on, Max is present at the party when his future self appears to save the day as Pegasus.
- Non-Protagonist Resolver: Kim, by getting critical information to the others about Hawk Moth and Party Crasher, allows Bunnyx to resolve the akuma problem by time travel. Pegasus unknowingly saves Emilie as well, by clearing the party to avoid a panic and getting Markov unplugged.
- Noodle Incident: The Startrain incident is briefly brought up when the bodyguard meets Pegasus. The fic was written before "Startrain" aired, and the author correctly assumed that Pegasus would make his proper debut in that episode.
- Ret-Gone: Bunnyx and Pegasus from the original timeline are wiped from existence after changing the future by preventing Wayhem's akumatization and telling the other heroes about Hawk Moth's location.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Nino, Luka, and Max don't become heroes fighting Party Crasher, and therefore are not captured by him. They are able to get away with the Miracle Box and one of the Miraculous that would have been loaned to them. However, it's subverted with Max from the original timeline, since he and Bunnyx suffer a Ret-Gone after altering the past so that Hawk Moth never creates Party Crasher.
- The Unmasking: Hawk Moth and Party Crasher discover the secret identities of Ladybug and Chat Noir. By his reaction to seeing Adrien, Hawk Moth gives his own identity away. However, in the altered timeline at the end, only Hawk Moth and Cat Noir have their identities exposed.
- We Have Ways of Making You Talk: Hawk Moth puts Marinette back into the mirror ball to break her so that she will reveal where the Guardian is. Ironically, he already has Master Fu in his power without realizing it.
