Owls On A Lily Pad
is a crossover between Amphibia and The Owl House, revolving around the idea that the second Calamity Box seen in the basement of the Owl House is more than just a one-off reference to a sister show, but is instead very real, and that Vee and Camila bond to the Heart Gem, Eda to the Strength Gem, and Raine to the Wit Gem, the first Box's activation sending them to Amphibia along with their respective Calamity Girl.
- Aliens Speaking English: Lampshaded. As Anne, Vee, and Camila get close to Wartwood, Vee hears people speaking in English. Anne questions how that's possible if they're in another dimension, and Vee explains that the same thing goes for the Boiling Isles but they call the language something else. Vee then says it's best to just accept it and move on.
- Cute Monster Girl: Vee, as Anne lampshades, is cute in her true form.
- For Want Of A Nail: The core idea of the AU is that Vee and Camila, Eda, and Raine bond with the Heart, Strength, and Wit gems (respectively) of the second Calamity Box in the Owl House's basement, and when the first Box is activated by Anne, Sasha, and Marcy, they're sent to Amphibia as well.
- Shout-Out: When Vee tells Anne what she is, she makes sure to say that she can't turn people to stone like in Harry Potter.
- Take That!: After revealing what she really is to Anne, Vee tells her to open her eyes and goes on a rant about the "turning people to stone" thing.Vee: I swear, if I didn't already dislike Rowling for the 'transphobia' nonsense, I'd be willing to fistfight her for just that.
