Little Girl Among Legends is a Pokemon fanfic by Plague Doctor 2035.

The story follows Cresselia and her fellow legendary pokemon at one of their semi-annual meetings at the Hall of Origins. Prior to arriving, Cresselia had been asked by two human friends of hers to babysit their 10-month-old toddler for them, as both had to go off to deal with a threat from one of the franchise's various evil teams. Having been given the child on short notice and having ot attend the meeting, Cresselia was forced to bring the baby with her. Now, she and the other legendary and mythical pokemon have to take care of the toddler for a few days.

Needless to say, hilarity ensures since none of them have much of an idea what they are doing.

'Little Girl Among Legends' contains examples of:

  • Baby Sitting Episode: The whole fic is basically one, seeing as it centers around taking care of a young child.

  • The Diaper Change: Seeing as this story involves taking care of a toddler, this is a given. Go figure that even Physical Gods like legendary and mythical Pokemon have trouble doing this. Many of them lack hands does not make it easy either.

  • Eats Babies: Played for laughed and subverted. When Raikou is playing with Meredy, claims he could "just eat her up" because of her cuteness. Everyone else in the room starts to get nervous due to stories circulating about him based off an incident decades ago where Raikou did eat someone in Johto. Raikou, however, assures everyone that those are mostly just rumors and that he only ate the guy because he was evil and causing trouble. He even states how he is immortal and does not even need to eat to begin with.

  • Pals with Jesus: Meredy's parents, who are Aura Guardians, are on good enough terms with Creselia, a literal immortal being and force of nature, that Cresselia is willing to babysit for them when the need arises. Seeing as legendaries in this story are more or less confirmed as demi-gods or "guardians" of their respective regions who keep the natural order of the world in check, this is an impressive feat.

  • Physical God: The legendary Pokemon in this setting are all but stated to be this, befitting their power in canon and in the games. It's even mentioned that they (or at least some) are immortal and do not even need to eat to sustain themselves, such as Raikou. The others presumably share similar traits.
