If Firestar Never Joined ThunderClan is a series of fanfiction stories based on the Warrior Cats novels written by Erin Hunter. They are the mastermind of author TailchaserFan10 on the website Fictionpad. It is Exactly What It Says on the Tin. Link to it here.
There are currently three books in the series:
- If Firestar Never Joined ThunderClan which follows Grayflight (Graystripe with a different warrior name).
- The Kit of Peace which is the second book following Tigerstar's two kits, Bristlepaw and Lichenpaw.
- The Void of Truth which is the third one following Tigerstar's two kits, Bristlepaw and the newly named Lichenscar. The book follows Lichenscar more.
Tropes:
- And That's Terrible: Grayflight seems to think that because Spottedleaf had a relationship with Tigerstar it is somehow rape. Everyone is disgusted with Tigerstar but somehow Spottedleaf is innocent.
- Out of Character:
- Spottedleaf's cursing.
- Blackfoot isn't an obedient brute of a soldier, is morally upright, and can control fire. The only thing that he and the canon Blackfoot did that was the same was abandon StarClan.
- The Stations of the Canon: Besides being largely out of order, it does make bus stops at some plots in the first book.
- Ravenpaw tells the Clan Redtail is dead.
- ShadowClan attacks ThunderClan and Lionheart dies.
- Yellowfang is found in the forest.
- Brokenstar is overthrown.
- Grayflight meets Silverstream.
- Wall of Text: Entire scenes are written within one paragraph. Breaks in between paragraphs are used like time skips.
