Fanfic / Havoc on the Boiling Isles

Go To

Havoc on the Boiling Isles is a crossover between The Owl House and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2021) by Halo20601 AKA MasterCheifMan.

When Adam decided to move Castle Grayskull to keep Skeletor's forces from destroying it, he had no idea they'd end up in another dimension entirely instead of elsewhere on Eternia. Unfortunately, Skeletor has come to the Boiling Isles as well, pretending to be an emissary of the Titan Belos reveres, and uses Havoc to put Belos under his control, in part by promising to help him control his curse. Now the heroes of both worlds must stop Skeletor and Belos before their alliance spreads Havoc across existence.

  • Ambiguous Situation: Is Belos actually a witch and an agent of the Titan, like he pretended to be in Canon, or has Phillip gone insane enough to believe his own lie.
  • Brick Joke: When Castle Grayskull appears off the shores of the Boiling Isles, the vibrations cause Eda's bottles of Apple Blood to fall and break. When the gang comes across Adam in Chapter 2, one of the first things that she says is that he owes her some more.
  • Closest Thing We Got: When Hunter is busting the Bats out of jail, he can't make a bassoon for Derwin because he has no clue what it is. Derwin settles for a saxophone.
  • Clueless Chick-Magnet: Adam is oblivious to the flirting of Emira Blight.
  • Crossover Villain-in-Chief: Skeletor quickly manages to get Belos to accept his Havoc to help keep the latter's condition at bay, allowing the skull-faced maniac to gain control of him.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Amber, predictably, gushes over how cute King is when she sees him for the first time.
  • Even the Guys Want Him: Edric gives off a wolf whistle in response to his sister's flirting of Adam.
  • Obviously Evil: Everyone from Boiling Isles immediately realise that Skeletor and his goons are evil and doesn't bring anything good to the Boiling Isles.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: Luz gets Eda to agree to go to the castle that appeared in the ocean and see if anyone there needs help by utilizing these.
  • Shipper on Deck: Katya is very much a shipper of Eda and Raine, even writing thinly-veiled fanfics of them.
