For all their power and arrogance however, unbeknownst to them, the very planet Earth itself grew angry and unleashed upon them a force that will bring them to their knees. And his name is .... - Been There, Shaped History: Godzilla is responsible for the Great Fire of Rome following his battle with the Roman gods.
- Composite Character:
- The various Kaiju are a mix between their various iterations in the Godzilla franchise.
- In addition to Ghidorah being a mix of his previous incarnations, he's also the Trihexa.
- Curbstomp Battle:
- Anyone that challenges the Monster King are on the receiving end of a one-sided beatdown.
- Godzilla gets a taste of this when Ghidorah appears before it gets reversed on Ghidorah thanks to some help from Mothra.
- The Dreaded: Godzilla has become this to both the mortal and supernatural world, making appearances on occasion to make sure they never forget who's watching their every actions.
- Gaia's Vengeance: Angered at the actions of the various mythical and supernatural groups, the Earth decides to create Godzilla to punish them and restore balance. After Ghidorah's defeat, the Earth decides to create more creatures like Godzilla including Mothra, Rodan and Anguirus.
- God Is Dead: Subverted. The God of the Bible manages to survive Godzilla's wrath, but barely.
- Know When to Fold 'Em: Azazel and Sirzechs withdraw their forces from the battle when it is clear that going up against Godzilla is a deathwish, especially after his radiation begins killing their men from the inside out.
- Mythology Gag: Chapter 2 has Godzilla battling the Roman gods (who are also the Greek gods) which is directly based on the Monster King's battle against the Olympians in Godzilla: Rage Across Time.
- Shout-Out: Chisavel Bunel and his gang are quite clearly based on the Shie Hassaikai from My Hero Academia.
- Oh, Crap!: Everyone looks on in horror after Godzilla kills Ddraig and Albion.
