Drop in Reality is a Kim Possible fanfic by brindani, detailing what could have happened were Kim to have been successfully turned evil during the events of "Stop Team Go". To put it bluntly, she becomes an Omnicidal Maniac who only doesn't immediately instigate a nuclear holocaust because Victory Is Boring. After she tricks Ron into also becoming evil again, the two of them become rivals with the ultimate goal of either destroying or conquering the world, respectively. Ron also enlists the aid of a once-again-evil Shego to help him gain an advantage against the heroine-turned-psychopath.

The story is incomplete at the time of writing, with the latest update made on July 5, 2023.

Provides examples of:

  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Shego and Electronique find out almost immediately what a bad idea turning Kim evil is, especially the latter with Kim using a series of ultra-fast strikes to kill her and take the Reverse Polarizer.
  • Blood from the Mouth: Electonique coughs blood before suddenly dying from Evil Kim's nerve attack.
  • Challenge Seeker: Evil Kim's most defining character trait. Due to her being such a master at martial arts, she can beat basically every opponent she comes across with ease. Her main motivation for turning Ron evil is that she knows only his evil-enhanced Super-Intelligence and competence at planning is her best chance to face an enemy that can actually match her.
  • Enemy Mine: Evil Ron gets Shego to work with him out of their mutual hatred of Kim (and Ron more than doubling her salary compared to what Drakken pays her).
  • Eviler than Thou: Evil Kim is this to basically every single other villain in the series. She's not merely interested in world domination, but rather in the destruction of all life. She uses the threat of triggering a nuclear war to intimidate Ron into turning himself evil again.
  • For Want Of A Nail: The main instigating factor between the canon events of the episode and the fic is that Rufus overeats Bueno Nacho the night before the fight, leaving him too sick to join and therefore unable to steal the Reverse Polarizer from Electronique and turn Hego good when he has Shego captured. This results in Shego being the one hit instead and being able to direct the rest of Team Go to capture Kim to be turned evil.
  • Mad Love: Being turned evil doesn't stop Kim from loving Ron. However, her sense of affection is twisted such that she's more interested in his evil self's ability to be a challenge than his good self's kind-heartedness.
  • Mad Scientist: Evil Ron's insane engineering skills are again put into focus, even being able to quickly turn some loose garden tools into an electric weed wacker while he's in the middle of his first fight with Evil Kim (though it does almost immediately blow up in his face).
  • Mirror Morality Machine: The Reverse Polarize/Attitudinator, naturally.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: Evil Kim is practically orgasmic at the idea of turning the entire planet into a smoldering hellscape.
  • An Offer You Can't Refuse:
    • Evil Kim manipulates Ron into turning himself evil again with the threat that if he doesn't join her, she'll simply destroy the world without his intervention.
    • Evil Ron forces Señor Senior, Sr. to "loan" him a billion dollars by hacking into his accounts and threatening to simply transfer his entire fifty-billion dollar fortune to him if he doesn't comply.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: Evil Kim isn't interested in taking over the world. She just wants to see everyone and everything die in the most painful way possible.
  • Psychopathic Womanchild: Evil Kim is constantly giggling and speaking in a cutesy, overexcited manner.
  • Sadist: Evil Kim only lives to inflict as much suffering as she possibly can, and any moment she isn't actively harming someone it is either an act of Cruel Mercy or to fulfill her Challenge Seeker goal.
  • Split Personality: Evil Kim is able to successfully fool everyone, including herself, into believing she's normal by effectively putting her evil side to sleep via self-hypnosis, only awakening when a certain trigger is activated.
  • Strong Girl, Smart Guy: Evil Kim/Shego and Evil Ron, respectively.
  • Superpowered Evil Side: Both Kim and Ron become exceptionally dangerous upon turning evil, with Kim being pretty much unbeatable in a one-on-one fight.
  • Touch of Death: Evil Kim's main method of fighting. She hits a person's vulnerable points with such accuracy, speed, and strength that even the super-strong Hego ends up blacking out from the pain.
  • Trigger Phrase: Evil Kim puts herself in a trance that reverts her back to the normal Kim to give Ron a few days to "think" about her offer for him to turn evil. Upon hearing him say "Bueno Nacho," she reawakens.
  • The Unfettered: Evil Kim's lack of regard for human life puts every other villain, including Evil Ron, to shame. She has no physical or mental barriers holding her back from accomplishing her goal of global annihilation save for her wish to face a truly challenging opponent before she does it.
  • Victory Is Boring: The only reason Evil Kim doesn't immediately destroy the world is that it deprives her of the challenge she seeks.
  • Worthy Opponent: Evil Kim considers Evil Ron to be the closest thing to one and goes out of her way to give him a week to formulate a plan against her after she considers her defeating him in their first fight boring.
  • You Are Already Dead: After turning evil, Kim delivers a Touch of Death nerve attack to Electronique that gives her just enough time to wonder what Kim even did before coughing blood and collapsing.
