Dragon Chronicles
is a Harry Potter Fanfiction written by Stargon1 that revolves around Harry's Parseltongue being able to be used on a certain other reptile.
In the first part, Muggle-RaisedChampion, The Dursleys manage to find a loophole that, as Harry's guardian, they have the right to forbid him to attend Hogwarts and they did just that. Years later, Hogwarts hosts the renewed TriWizard tournament, but for some reason, Harry is selected as a participant, even though he is not a student of any of the three participating students. When Ludo Bagman & Bartemious Crouch told Harry & Vernon that if Harry didn't participate, his ability to cast magic would be erased, something that excites the fat uncle. Thankfully, Cornelious Fudge has a solution: Emancipate Harry Potter.
In the second part, Harry Potter,Dragon Whisperer, Harry loses interest in staying at Hogwarts, but he needs to finish OWL & NEWT to be considered a legal adult in the wizarding world. Thankfully, people learn that Harry can communicate with dragons, therefore, dragon reserves all around the world united to offer Harry to work with them as an intern, rotating which dragon reserves he works at per few months, while he studies for the test, which he readily accepts. as it turns out, there are more to dragons than everyone thought.

Dragon Chronicles contains examples of:
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Cornelius Fudge. While he only cares about getting more approval ratings, he's fully aware that helping Harry Potter & listening to him & Charlie about proper dragon reserve construction is a much better direction than forcing him to stay in Britain.
- Adaptational Skill: Harry's time spent as a part-time worker in Keating's Wood n Furniture ended up giving him skills in physical arts, especially painting & wood carving.
- In Spite of a Nail: Even though Harry is not a Hogwarts student, he still ends up befriending Hermione & Neville as they are among the students Dumbledore choose to mentor Harry to catch up with his wizarding education.
- Loophole Abuse:
- By law, both magic and mundane, the Dursleys are Harry's legal guardians, so they have the right to forbid his enrollment to Hogwarts, something they use immediately.
- Fudge tries to Invoke this in an attempt to keep Harry exclusively a British citizen. Harry's contract said that he needed to work with all of the existing dragon reserves in the world, so to lure Harry in, he shall build a dragon reserve in Britain.
- Promoted to Love Interest: In this fic, Harry ends up in a relationship with Daphne Greengrass.
- Hated by All: Harry is concerned about becoming one if he, who never was a Hogwarts student, participates in the TriWizard as Hogwarts' second champion.Harry: No, no, no. No way I'm going to a brand new school and say "Hi, I'm new here, and I also happen to be your second champion". Everyone at the school will resent me, the other schools will kick up a massive stink and the other three champions, especially the one from Hogwarts will hate me.
- Adaptation Expansion: This fic expands a lot about Wizarding World's dragons:
- The dragons have a form of government called Weyr within the dragon reserves, led by a council with the eldest dragon at the top.
- Fantastic Slurs: Dragons call snakes "Belly-Crawler".
- Lost in Translation: Turns out, the title that the bearer of Mark of The Dragons that humans recorded as "Champion of The Dragons" is actually "Speaker of The Dragons", meaning that their role is to be a bridge between men and dragons, not commanding dragons.
- Mark of the Supernatural: After tearing [[spoilers:Voldemort's soul out of Harry's scar]], Memzath plants Harry the Mark of The Dragon in its place, which identifies him as The Speaker of Dragons to both dragons & humans.
- Red Baron: Those who bear the Mark of The Dragons are called "Speaker of The Dragons".
- Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Gender-Inverted; Newt Scamander, despite being elderly at this point, is still as giddy as children in a candy store after hearing about Harry gaining The Mark of The Dragons, much to Tina, his stoic wife, minor exasperation.
