"Crimson, Gold and Silver
" is a crossover between Exalted and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds by Elia41. When Jack steals Yusei's Duel Runner, both Yusei and Rally become Exalted during the boat rescue; Rally transforms into a spider Lunar, and Yusei ascends into a Twilight Caste Solar. Two years later, Yusei's attempt to recover his dragon gets infinitely more complicated when the world turns out to be in danger.
This work contains examples of:
- After the End: An unspecified event called the Fall destroyed Creation. The modern world is the apparent result of what's left after going through thousands of years of rebuilding.
- Big Good: The Silver Pact, who gladly provides Yusei and Satellite with assistance whenever they ask. That they are oppressed by Sector Security is further insentive.
- Body Horror: Boy, is Broken Domino in a sorry state... Besides the fact his metallic parts are rusted and those in his stomach are broken, his Electronic Eye is cracked, his skin spots concrete blotches and glass shards are jutting from his organic parts.
- Contrived Coincidence: Despite the rarity of Solars and Lunars, Yusei and Rally become Exalts near-simultaneously. Kerry suspects that a Sidereal is behind it. Later events have the older Exalts considering that the Pattern Spiders themselves are behind it.
- Cyborg: Broken Domino the patron-god of Satellite appears as an industrial-looking cyborg with a bad case of Body Horror.
- Dragons Are Divine: Yusei's anima banner is a blue dragon armored in gold - fitting for a latent Signer.
- Dreaming Of Things Gone By: Yusei has a dream about his First Age self. It sets his Motivation.
- Emperor Scientist: Yusei's Exaltation belongs to the First Age Solar called keitenno Ryushi, the Architect of Utopia, who was fabled for his mastery of all fields of science. Keitenno literally means Science-Emperor in Japanese.
- Friendly Neighborhood Spider: Rally's totemic form is a fluffy silver spider, with his Tell being its silver fur.
- Fusion Fic: The world of Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds is Creation After the End, and the various Exalted have survived in the shadows while the world rebuilt itself.
- Futile Hand Reach: When Yusei, Rally, Belinda and Crow first meet Broken Domino, he is futilely reaching out to Neo Domino City while calling it. Given Broken Domino is the Satellite-half of Domino City's shattered patron-god, it's easy to guess he is reaching for his missing half.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Comes with being a Twilight Solar, but Yusei is still able to repair anything he gets his hands on and build a saltwater pump-purifier to provide Satellite with fresh water and salt for the B.A.D Shadowland.
- Heroic Vow: Yusei vows to make Satellite "shine as brightly as Neo Domino City". The Unconquered Sun acknowledges it.
- Home Field Advantage: Having claimed Satellite as his and Yusei's Territory, Rally is able - with Belinda's assistance - to use his Lunar abilities to make the place actually safe for its inhabitants... while making it outright inhospitable to Sector Security. Geo Effects and hostile fauna are but one of the problems the policemen have to deal with while Satellite's people benefit from Secure Dens that cannot be found without magic, conveniently-obvious paths and no issue from Satellite's many natural hazards.
- Like Brother and Sister: Yusei and Rally are brother-mates. Yusei also more or less raises Rally alongside Blitz, Tank and Nervin.
- Mr. Exposition: Kerry, a Beagle Lunar, explains to Yusei and Rally what they have become.
- The Mentor: Belinda appoints herself as Rally and, to a lesser extent, Yusei's teacher.
- Mundane Utility: Belinda's day job as a tattoo artist makes her the go-to Lunar to apply moonsilver tattoos.
- Protectorate: Satellite is under the protection of both Yusei and Rally, who perform a Lunar Charm that makes it their territory.
- Power Tattoo: Par of the course with the Lunars. Rally receives circuitry-looking tattoos following his trial, and Yusei agrees to receive matching ones as a mark of their bond.
- Rousing Speech: Yusei delivers one to Satellite's people after Sector Security quashes their first attempt at rebuilding and demeans them. Since it's fueled by his Solar abilities, the speech massively bolsters the Satellite dwellers' resolve.
- Stealth Expert: From the start, Rally's specialty appears to be subtlety and subertfuge, as proved when he steals the card he was meant to retrieve during his Trial and later sneaks on Tank, Blitz and Nervin as training.
- Talkative Loon: From his rambling alone, it is clear Broken Domino has a few screws loose.
- Training the Gift of Magic: Because of how powerful the Exalted can become, Exalt elders have the duty to guide novices.
- Traumatic Superpower Awakening: Yusei Exalts, while nearly drowning in the process of saving Rally from the sinking boat. Rally Exalts while seemingly watching Yusei drown.
- Utopia: Ryushi, Yusei's original Exaltation, ruled over the In-Universe Ur-Example, a paradise of science and knowledge he had built himself and whom he ruled as its Emperor Scientist. This is why he is called the Architect of Utopia.
