- Big Brother Instinct: When Nie Mingjue thinks that Nie Huaisang is in trouble, he immediately runs into action to protect his brother.
- Big "WHAT?!": Mingjue’s response when he hears that his little brother has been having trysts with Jin Zixun since the Sunshot Campaign.
- Groin Attack: Very, very narrowly averted, as Nie Mingjue doesn't quite manage to land his strike and is called off before he could do so. It was going to involve baxia.
- Hypocrite: Nie Huaisang points out that Nie Mingjue has no right to scold him about having a lover, seeing as Mingjue apparently sleeps with both of his Sworn Brothers regularly.
- The Immodest Orgasm: Lan Xichen, apparently. The entire Unclean Realm is aware that the Venerated Triad are sleeping together as a result.
- Jin Guangyao is apparently also...audible for a distance.
- Interrupted Intimacy: Played for laughs. Nie Huaisang and Jin Zixun have a tryst? Okay. Nie Huaisang and Jin Zixun engage in some of their more unconventional fantasies? Fine. - Not What It Looks Like: Nie Mingjue thinks he’s come across his brother being assaulted by Jin Zixun. Turns out that it is a consensual game that they’re playing. Oops.
