After Randall's banishment into the human world, a young Cajun student named Danielle DeMarsh encounters him wounded. She decides to take care of him until he is able to get back to the monster world, but he is proven to be a handful.
A sequel, A New Life and Healing, is currently being written.

- Exotic Equipment: Played with. In the sex scene that occurs in Chapter 43, Randall's penis is dark purple fading to pink at the head, and the head is a little pointier. This fanfic is one of the only times Randall is not depicted with two penises.
- Expy: Lissette Miller, Danielle's best friend, shares some similarities to Mike Wazowski. Both can be pushy and controlling of their friends sometimes. Randall even lampshades it in Chapter 18 and when he dubs her Wazowski #2.
- Hates Being Touched: Randall is not very fond of Danielle touching him at first.
- Interspecies Romance: Between Danielle (a human) and Randall (a lizard-like monster).
- Kissing Under the Influence: Randall and Danielle's first kiss occurred when they were both drunk.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Randall's disguise when he goes to the Mardi Gras parade consists only of a mask and a jester's coat and hat.
A New Life and Healing provides examples of:
- Ascended Extra: Lissette played a minor role in Lost Then Found But Not Healed and didn't appear until Chapter 15. In this fanfic, she plays a bigger role and appears in Chapter 2.
