* ''Anime/OddTaxi'': Dobu insists he really didn't have anything to do with the missing girl, though he has no proof to back it up. He also adheres to a sense of pride, which Odokawa believes would prevent him from actually killing a person, but it's left ambiguous if he's right or not.
** In the manga, there's some extra dialog clarifying that one of the reasons he hasn't handed over the taxi recording he got is because he doesn't want his group to think he robbed Odokawa like a thug. Odokawa is confused as to why a criminal organization would have standards like that.
** Dobu's not willing to hurt Kabasawa even despite him leading a viral internet campaign to catch him and even framing him for a crime he didn't commit. While he does extort a bunch of stuff from Kabasawa in exchange, he at least leaves him with some constructive life advice to ensure he doesn't do wind up in such a lethally stupid situation ever again.
** He follows one rule imposed by his boss, Kuroda: "don't kill anyone".

* ''Anime/CometLucifer'':
** Even [[EnfantTerrible Puck]] finds Alfried's obsession with Felia creepy. Or disgusting. Or both. It's hard to tell from facial expression.
** When the Imperial troops interrupt a wedding in episode 6, they don't shoot any of the civilians while searching for Felia. One of them even laments being given that order.

* ''Anime/TigerAndBunny'': Lunatic might be a killer but he only goes after killers of the innocent-and thoroughly researches his marks before acting, lest he kills an innocent himself. When confronted by a man who was obviously innocent of the crimes leveled against him, Lunatic acts to save him instead. He also refuses to kill anyone who is innocent in his eyes.
