Battling & Betting

Bet on the team of your choice and ready your liver.
  • If you bet on a blatant overdog (3.5:1 or above), have a drink, for safety.
  • If on the contrary, you bet on a massive underdog (inverse situation as above), and win, finish your drink in celebration.
  • If you win less than 100$ from a bet sip
  • If you win less than 10$ from a bet chug
  • Drink if your bet made it in the last 10 seconds
  • Decide whether to drink or not for the next 20 minutes when a magikarp wins the match
  • Sip when your team contains a legendary
  • Drink if your team contains entei/deoxys/darkrai
    • Chug when entei/deoxys/darkrai loses the match
    • Decide for if you want to drink or not for the next 20 minutes if one of them wins a match
  • When your pokemon is asleep or frozen sip
    • When your pokemon dosent wake up or thaw after 5 turns chug
  • Sip when your pokemon takes recoil damage
    • Drink when your pokemon faints to recoil damage
    • Drink twice when your pokemon faints to recoil damage and couldn't take the opponent down
  • Take a sip every time your Pokémon misses.
    • If you really hate your liver, make it two during FogChamp.
    • When your pokemon misses because the opponent uses bounce/fly/dig/dive/protect sip
    • When your pokemon misses thrice in a row drink
    • When your pokemon misses six times in a row chug
    • When your pokemon misses every single move until it faints finish the entire drink
  • Decide to drink or not for the next 10 minutes when earthquake hits a pokemon that is digging underground
  • Decide whether to drink or not for the next 10 minutes when trace actually mattered
  • Drink when your pokemon's move is Aerial Ace/Aura Sphere/Faint Attack/Magical Leaf/Magnet Bomb/Shadow Punch/Shock Wave/Swift/Vital Throw/Trump Card and the move still didn't hit the opponent
  • If your current Pokémon depends on a sequence of two or more moves to win (say, Rain Dance to activate Swift Swim into an attack move):
    • Drink if the team ignores the combo entirely.
    • Have a sip every time the Pokémon repeats the first move thanks to slow switchers.
  • Chug every time a move with a single digit percent is chosen.
    • Two chugs if its chance was 0%.
  • Sip every turn a status effect prevents your Pokémon from acting entirely.
  • Drink if your Pokemon suffers an status effect as a secondary effect of an attack.
    • If the status effect wears off immediatly, you may spew the drink back into your glass.
    • If your Pokémon has Serene Grace, sip every time one of its attacks doesn't activate its secondary effect.
  • Drink wherever a Crit actually mattered.
  • Sip wherever a pokemon is attracted/paralyzed/confused
  • Sip on each usage of Metronome.
    • Drink instead if the resulting move actually helps your team.
  • Chug if YOLO hits (Fissure, Horn Drill, etc).
  • If any of your Pokémon KAPOW (Selfdestruct, Explosion, etc), you have honor and thus may choose to not drink for the remainder of the match.
  • Drink whenever the announcer is quiet when he should have spoken (attacking, hitting, KO, waiting).
  • Sip when the announcer announces one of these move phrases:

  • Head Smash: Slammed by Head Smash!
  • Wood Hammer: Pounded by Wood Hammer!
  • Stone Edge: Sliced by Stone Edge!
  • Rock Wrecker: Demolished by Rock Wrecker!
  • Power Whip: Lashed by Power Whip!
  • Leaf Storm: Torn up by Leaf Storm.
  • Draco Meteor: Pounded by Draco Meteor! (same as Wood Hammer)
  • Giga Impact: Crushed by Giga Impact!
  • Brave Bird: Nailed by Brave Bird!
  • Focus Blast: Busted by Focus Blast!
  • Flare Blitz: Torched by Flare Blitz!
  • Close Combat: Beaten down by Close Combat!
  • Psycho Boost: Torn apart by Psycho Boost! (same as Spacial Rend)
  • Volt Tackle: Slammed by Volt Tackle! (same as Head Smash/Focus Punch)
  • Frenzy Plant: Shredded by Frenzy Plant!
  • Dragon Claw: Ripped by Dragon Claw! (same as Roar of Time)
  • Muddy Water: Splashed by Muddy Water!
  • Water Spout: Drenched by Water Spout!
  • Overheat: Cooked by Overheat!
  • Hydro Cannon: Deluged by Hydro Cannon!
  • Blast Burn: Immolated by Blast Burn!
  • Eruption: Nailed by Eruption! (same as Brave Bird/Drill Peck)
  • Superpower: Devastated by Superpower!
  • Focus Punch: Slammed by Focus Punch! (same as Head Smash/Volt Tackle)
  • Heat Wave: Burned by Heat Wave!
  • Megahorn: Pierced by Megahorn!
  • Dynamic Punch: Beaten down by Dynamic Punch! (same as Close Combat)
  • Sacred Fire: Set aflame by Sacred Fire!
  • Outrage: Smacked down by Outrage!
  • Zap Cannon: Shocked by Zap Cannon!
  • Sludge Bomb: Slimed by Sludge Bomb!
  • Aeroblast: Blown away by Aeroblast!

    • Win at least 10000$ in an all in and you win the entire drinking game
    • Decide whether to drink or not when you lose all your money
    • Sip when your all in is only 100$
    • Drink when your all in is more than 1000$
    • Chug when your all in is more than 10000$
    • Chug twice when your all in is more than 100000$
    • Chug thrice when your all in is 6969$
  • Stream
    • Chug twice if stream is offline
    • Chug whenever the stream is interrupted by wii communications
    • Drink whenever the stream frozes
    • Sip whenever the stream lags

Elsewhere

Because it gets boring watching those reels line up.
  • If watching with friends, whoever has not identified a unique Shiny in the reels has to take a drink.
  • Chug wherever the Select Sect wins a vote.
  • Drink whenever the winning vote is a useless one
    • Unless chat actually meant to get on/off the bike, in which case sip instead.
  • Chug if you win a token during the intermission.
  • Donation match bid extravaganza - Drink wherever any of the following happens:
    • The winning bid is for a single token.
    • The winning bid is in the double digits.
    • The winning bid is a cancer match
    • The winning bid is a one-sided match
    • The winning bid is a metronome match
    • The winning bid is a KAPOW match
    • The winning bid is a seismic toss match
    • Four or more snipes happen.
    • The bid is sniped within the last 10 seconds.
  • Once the bidding is over, sip every time someone in chat points out how original this matchup is.
    • Finish your drink if the winning bid includes Shedinja.
