* Tropers/Doujinguy567: The episode "See No Ed", the only episode where the Eds didn't appear, at least in front of the other kids. It showed just how the kids truly felt about the Eds. At first, they were elated at the Eds' disappearance, considering how much of a toll they took on them with their scams. Eventually their absence becomes unsettling, and they start to show their concern and guilt over the possibility that something genuinely bad might've happened to them as well as how they've treated them. It showed that while they did find the Eds annoying, they didn't truly want them out of their lives. All of them.... Except. For. Kevin. Throughout the episode, Kevin showed no sign of a guilty conscience for the Eds' absence. Even lashing out at the other kids who dared to show any empathy towards them. And it was simply because he was convinced (to a disturbing degree) that they were just doing what they always do; waiting around somewhere to scam them, and TBF, he ended up being right. Regardless, that doesn't excuse the fact that of all the kids, he's the one who'd rather see the Eds dead, gone, and would celebrate it. I'd surmise that had the Eds showed up in front of the group with a justifiable reason for where they'd been, he'd have likely beaten them up out of his growing frustration/paranoia at their absence. Even still, after being right about the Eds' scam and seeing that everyone is in dire conditions because of it, he runs away and leaves them behind due to the sheer insanity of it all. Considering all the other entries here that involve Kevin, this one IMO serves as a MoralEventHorizon of his character and could honestly shed light on some of the things he does to the Eds, Eddy specifically. [[note]]Even near the end of the movie, when Rolf throws him in front of Eddy's brother, there's this awkward pause where it seems like he's actually contemplating the idea of defending someone he doesn't like, though it can also be chalked up to him not realizing that Rolf was going to throw him to the wolves like that, not to mention in "Honor Thy Ed", where he does show some concern over the Eds' wellbeing, despite being the one who bribed them into going into that abandoned house to begin with.[[/note]]

* Savagegenius: Since some of the obvious ones are already taken, I'll go with a moment from "Ed Overboard." So after Lee and Marie kidnap Ed to redeem themselves from pranking May, Eddy and Double D, with the help of the Urban Rangers, manage to sneak into the trailer park without being caught. There they see Lee and Marie tie him up to a tree while May mercilessly tortures and kisses him. How do Double D and the Urban Rangers, react to this? With complete disgust, of course. How does Eddy react, on the other hand? [[NoSympathy He actually finds this funny.]] God, I can't stand Eddy in this episode. It's one thing to selfishly abandon your friends to achieve a goal (he did this quite a bit in "Don't Rain On My Ed, after which he got punished for it), but laughing at your friend getting sexually harassed-let alone by the girls you fear as well-is just absurdly low and out of character, even for him. Fuck this Ed torture porn of an episode.

* Savagegenius: Since some of the obvious ones are already taken, I'll go with a I’m switching my dethroning moment from "Ed Overboard." So “Ed Overboard” with Eddy just deciding to abandon Ed out of nowhere to an episode way back in Season 2-that is, “Knock, Knock, Who’s Ed?”. If you didn’t think you could hate Sarah enough, you will after Lee and Marie kidnap Ed to redeem themselves from pranking May, Eddy and Double D, with the help beginning of the Urban Rangers, manage to sneak into the trailer park without being caught. It's one thing Why? Because the entire conflict starts when the Eds are looking through Ed’s fridge to selfishly abandon your find snacks while they watch an eight-hour monster movie marathon, but Sarah demands they get out of the kitchen because she’s having Jimmy over as a guest and they were trying to paint together. After some taunting from Eddy, she kicks all three of them out of the house altogether and locks the door so they can’t get back in and makes (punchable) faces at them. Now that would just be typical Sarah behavior, but what she does next put this in dethroning moment territory: That is, she locks Ed outside of his own room through the window while she and Jimmy sit on his chair-his private property, mind you-and eat some snacks in front of their faces. Okay, first of all, this scene showcases not one, but two hypocritical moments from Sarah-the fact that she got mad at Ed for interrupting her get-together when he has guests as well, and the fact that she barged into his private property after not wanting them in the same room as her. Also, there’s literally nothing wrong with Ed and his friends going to achieve a goal (he did this quite a bit in "Don't Rain On My Ed, after which he got punished for it), but laughing at your friend the kitchen, getting sexually harassed-let food, and then leaving; the fridge is for everyone in the house to share, and if the two brats wanted to paint alone by so badly, they could’ve done it on the girls you fear as well-is living room floor or something. And on top of that, they were just absurdly low minding their own business and weren’t even trying to pester Sarah and Jimmy to begin with, yet Sarah went out of character, her way to ruin their fun anyway! I get that she’s supposed to be abusive and unlikeable, but this is way too far, even for him. Fuck this Ed torture porn of an episode.her!

* Tropers/{{MsCC93}}:I used to be one of the few who didn’t have a problem with "[[Recap/EdEddNEddyS3E23IfItSmellsLikeAnEd If It Smells Like An Ed]]", but now my opinion has changed simply because of the ending when Ed and Edd got pelted by fruits and when the Kankees dragged them off screen to get raped. I do agree with the fans that Ed and Edd didn’t deserve the shared punishment that they got, but I have zero sympathy for Eddy. Am I supposed to feel sorry for him because he’s the protagonist? I mean come on guys, none of this would have happened if Eddy didn’t give Jimmy a wedgie, and he doesn’t deserve a pass for it since Jimmy did nothing to provoke Eddy at the moment (Jimmy came off as a JerkassWoobie to me). Eddy shouldn’t be applauded for being a bully, and neither should the kids. Still, this episode is problematic.

* Tropers/{{Baronobeefdip}}: The episode where Nazz babysits Eddy, "To Sir with Ed", is a [=DMoS=]. First of all, why would a 12 year-old boy like Eddy need a babysitter? (Especially considering that Eddy seems perfectly capable of taking care of himself and that he's done fine without parental/adult/babysitter supervision before.) Second, why would Nazz (a girl who's either about the same age or only a few years older) be the one to babysit him? Also, there's the fact that she doesn't even bother telling Eddy in the first place what's really going on. Oh, [[FromBadToWorse but it gets better (not).]] Then, Nazz invites all of her friends over and they trash Eddy's house ([[SarcasmMode Great babysitting job you've done, Nazz. Trash the very house you're being paid to watch over]]). Oh, and the ending where [[spoiler:Eddy gets his tongue stuck in the door to his own room and Ed (normally one of the nicest characters in the series) [[JerkassBall puts a diaper on Eddy's tongue and calls him a "baby"]].]] That's right, the episode ends with Eddy (who hasn't done anything wrong in the entire episode) being heartbroken (poor guy genuinely thought he was finally going to get the girl) and humiliated in his own home all due to a big misunderstanding. Also, why didn't his parents just leave him a note or something that told them that Nazz was going to visit to keep an eye on things? Just who in their right minds would leave a 12-year-old and NOT let him know where they were going or if anyone was coming over to check up on things? Worst. Parenting. Ever.

** Tropers/Regulas314: I agree wholeheartedly, Nazz was condescending at best and a complete bitch at worst. It isn't Eddy's fault the house got destroyed, you can thank Ed and the giant chicken head of ice. This episode also retcons the fact that Eddy has been shown to be able to take care of himself. Unless this was a massive joke about how small he is that he's basically a baby, attitude and all, then that just makes it worse! Eddy's parents are no better than [[WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddparents Timmy Turner's;]] what kind of parents leave their 12 year old child home alone without letting him know they sent a babysitter to look after him for a bit? Double D's may be inattentive, but at least they leave sticky note instructions. As you pointed out, Eddy did NOTHING wrong in this episode to deserve the torment, the humiliation, or the heartbreak.

* Tropers/{{Supreme-X15}}: "Look Before You Ed", the supposed final episode of the series, left me bitter. Winter rolls around, and the only one not happy about it is Jimmy, who unsurprisingly, is at his most vulnerable during this season. Double D is sympathetic towards Jimmy and the two decide to make a safety club to make sure everyone is "safe". Admirable? Yes. Necessary? Debatable at best, as Eddy stated that no one was interested in Double D's safety club idea for the past two years, so that would mean accidents in the snow are few and far between, but Jimmy's the only one more accident prone than anyone else, so naturally he'd be interested. The only problem is that Eddy and Ed keep screwing around while Double D and Jimmy try to take their safety club efforts seriously. Eventually, Jimmy gets fed up with the Eds, quits, and makes his own successful safety club. The episode ends with everyone going home and leaving the Eds being stuck in an ice cage, because Jimmy perceives them to be the main threat to safety. And this is supposed to be the final episode?! This rubbed me the wrong way more than almost anything else in the series. Jimmy, although nowhere near evil as he was in his infamous revenge scheme in "If It Smells Like An Ed", becomes completely unsympathetic the moment he left the Eds in that ice cage, and as mentioned several times before, Double D is the [[NiceGuy nice guy]], and didn't deserve this treatment. I get that most things don't go right for the Eds, but this is a cruel way to end the series. Not that I liked him much to begin with (in fact I cared very little for him as time went on), but this episode just paints [[BitchInSheepsClothing Jimmy]] in an even more negative light than before. Jimmy has almost always been a wimp, but how can making a snow angel hurt that badly? Nearly every episode where Jimmy has the spotlight seems to only sour his character. Let's not forget the other kids favoring Jimmy's absolutely campy safety club and callously leaving the Eds in that ice cage, which gives them an extra layer of unlikable. "May I Have This Ed", the segment before this one at least had a happier ending, since the Eds for once managed to escape unscathed. It should have been the last episode, not this poor excuse for a finale. At least we got the [[BigDamnMovie Big Picture Show]] as the real finale to the series, since the Eds are [[EarnYourHappyEnding finally accepted by the kids]], minus Jonny.
