Darth Wiki / Xanas Army

Go To

Xana's Army is a roleplay in the Code Lyoko universe that takes place on Tumblr. It has several plot branches as of late, and the roleplays themselves are a little disorganized, but the character mods are (mostly) very close to each other and work to keep conflict at a minimum.

In the months following Xana's destruction, the group slowly begins to drift apart. However, when Xana appears once again, the Warriors find themselves forced to not only come back together, but to accept new allies into the fold. This not only presents them with new challenges, but also opens up new opportunities as friendships are forged, relationships are strengthened, and past grudges are forgiven.

This roleplay provides examples of:

  • Acting Unnatural: The spectre children (particularly Xavier and Marcel) constantly do this. Justified, as they were not human to begin with and were designed as combat spectres, not infiltration specialists.
  • Adults Are Useless: Averted. Several adults in the roleplay are actively aware of Lyoko's existance and are either working with the Lyoko Warriors, are Lyoko Warriors, or are their enemies.
  • Berserk Button:
    • Mess with one of the Warriors, and the rest will tear you apart.
    • Yolanda and O'Hara's adopted children have no moral issues with murder. Keep that in mind if you mess with their mothers.
    • Don't mention the Monday of Madness to Odd.
    • It's slowly becoming more and more obvious that calling Jeremie's Lyoko form 'ridiculous' is a bad move.
  • Darker and Edgier: Oh, so very, very much.
  • Don't Go in the Woods: A chillingly realistic scenario involving a few students and a pack of human-acclimated wolves didn't end very well. Reinforced with the recent murder of a classmate. In the woods.
  • Enemy Mine: Subverted. When the government agents go after the supercomputer, it looks like Xana and the Warriors are going to team up in order to fend off this new threat... only for Xana to imprison Jeremie inside of the supercalculator room and create a doppelganger of him in order to spy on the agents and pull a little sabotage.
  • Evil Twin: All of the spectres created by Xana. Subverted when two spectres betray him to avoid 'dying'.
  • Fate Worse than Death:
    • Being confined to a distant corner of your mind while Xana controls your body is awful. But being forced to see and hear everything anyway is even worse, according to Xavier and Marcel.
    • Gwen experienced what it was like to not exist. She still has some trauma left over from it.
  • Hikikomori: Aelita has to drag Jeremie out of his room sometimes.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: Every Warrior is ready to drop the facade of school student or staff member in order to kick some ass.
  • Other Me Annoys Me: William was quite annoyed when he met his clone, before Jeremie gave it a long-overdue program upgrade.
  • Precision F-Strike: When Jeremie starts swearing, he's either been pushed past the 'ticked off' point, or the group is royally screwed. Neither scenario is good news.
  • Redemption Earns Life: Xavier was going to die unless he betrayed Xana to join the Warriors. And he did.
  • Slasher Smile: If you see one of these on the face of a spectre kid, you're probably in trouble.
    • If William has this expression, you ARE in trouble.
    • And if Jeremie, of all people, has a Slasher Smile, start praying.
  • Techno Babble: Every now and then, Jeremie and Aelita end up speaking in this.
  • What Measure Is a Non-Human?: The spectre kids are just human enough to evoke pity from Yolanda and O'Hara, which saves them from being deleted - by being turned into humans (or at least something close to that).
    • Jeremie no longer sees William Jr. as a replacement, but as an entity with its own thoughts, and can't bring himself to terminate the program. Instead, he spends his time trying to upgrade 'Will' to be more humanlike.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Why did it have to be wolves/the Scyphozoa/heights/airplanes/spiders/darkness/jellyfish?
