The Brandom note  is a large group of Internet users that resides on Tumblr. Their blogs are often asks blogs of personified business's, candy, household items, Aad even people. It all started on November 5th, 2016, when a blog by the name of Kit Katofficial (Now known as Johnny Kitkats, their original blog was deleted due to copyright.) Had created a Tumblr post which contained a gif that did not work. Another blog, Reesescups, responds. More people created Brandom blogs over time and it has now become a large Tumblr community.

The Brandom Contains examples of:

  • The Ageless: A great number of the Brandom's inhabitants do not age, usually either because they are deities or at least Semi-Divine, or because they are the living embodiment of a brand, product, or concept.
  • Alien Invasion: Several have taken place in the Earth's history. They all failed because they only sent one invader.
  • Alternate Universe: Gem Earth is an alternate universe based on Steven Universe, created to explain the existence of several fan gem character blogs that became part of the Brandom with the creation of The-Ghost-Of-Pink-Diamond. Their universe is in the process of merging with the main Brandom universe, resulting in their Earth fading in and out of the sky of the main Brandom Earth and vise versa.
  • Crossover Cosmology: Greco-Roman, Egyptian, and Norse mythology have all been confirmed to be true in this setting, as has Christianity note . Several characters are deities from fictional mythologies, both pre-existing and original. Nobody seems phased by this at all.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: The Brandom began as a series of jokes and memes, and eventually evolved into its current form. As a result, its earliest days were weird to say the least. Many of the earlier blogs deactivated as a result of this change.
  • Fantasy Kitchen Sink: Wizards, werewolves, zombies, ghosts, reapers, demons, angels, demigods, fairies, aliens, dragons, giants, monsters, take your pick, it probably exists in this world. Compounded by the ridiculous number of fictional universes that are canon to the setting and the overabundance of deities.
  • Last of His Kind: There are a great number of these.
  • Living Relic: Considering the commonality of the Last of His Kind and Time Abysses, this was really a given.
  • Masquerade: Due to the crossover nature of the setting, there are actually several independent masquerades. It is generally implied that there is one hiding the Brandom community from the world at large.
  • Massive Multiplayer Crossover: There are so many works that are canon or partially canon to the Brandom's setting that listing them all is likely impossible. Examples include Steven Universe, Supernatural, Homestuck, Frankenstein, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Pokémon, SCP Foundation, Undertale, and Portal.
  • The Multiverse: At least one Alternate Universe is directly show, and a few others are implied to exist. The existence of one sort of multiverse is confirmed by Homestuck being canon, though a larger one is implied to exist.
  • Really 700 Years Old: This is surprisingly common within the Brandom. Seemingly none of the immortal characters actually appear old.
  • Shout-Out: Word of God said Candy's freckles are a reference to a character called Roulette Boy, from a Anime called Gregory Horror Shownote
  • Time Abyss: This is common and sometimes quiet extreme among the members of the Brandom. It has gotten to the point that someone billions of years old is considered "not really that old".
  • Weaksauce Weakness: Candy seems to take pride in the fact that she's unkillable. What she fails to say is that she stops moving completely when the Airhead candy bar on her chest is removed.
  • Weirdness Censor: There seems to be one in effect, as the Brandom remains a secret to the general public, despite the fact that nearly all of its members have blogs on a public website, where their antics are documented.
