Some product of Skritz's imagination (there is alot going on inside my wangsty brain, thankyou), The Ascended draws heavy inspiration from Nineties Adventure Show, Manga and Comics. Set in a Dystopian future, with some Bio Punk and Transhumanist theme.

This serie(?) provides examples of:
- Beware the Superman
- Blessed with Suck: Being Enhanced suck.
- Body Horror
- Flawed Prototype: The whole Alpha Strain of the Mutagen. Either it barely boost someone or the subject suffers from severe Power Degeneration. Then again, every Mutagen cause Power Degeneration to some degree.
- No Plans, No Prototype, No Backup: Averted.
- One-Winged Angel: Usually a side-effect of Power Degeneration, sometime done on purpose.
- Super Serum: The source of all superpowers. Also double as Psycho Serum.
- Super-Soldier: Mutagen-Enhanced Humans are exactly this.
