Turbine Inc. is an American video game company, founded in 1994 and best known for making several influential, but somewhat niche, MMORPGs, including the Cult Classic Asheron's Call. In 2010, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment bought them, running them into the ground over the next few years.

Starting in 2015, Warner Bros. tasked Turbine with the creation of the very short-lived Infinite Crisis MOBA, a game that did not even last a full year in service after release. After Infinite Crisis, Warner Bros. refocused the studio on mobile game development, creating Batman: Arkham Underworld and Game of Thrones: Conquest.

After the retooling of the studio to be more or less fully devoted to mobile games, a number of developers left in 2017 to form Standing Stone Games, a studio which took over development of both Dungeons & Dragons Online and The Lord of the Rings Online. Notably missing from this exodus was Asheron's Call, which was shut down instead of going with Standing Stone Games and the IP promptly buried in Warner Bros.' vault, never to be seen again.

In 2018, Turbine was renamed to WB Games Boston. They have not created any games since Game of Thrones: Conquest.
