Sandra Ann Smith (June 27, 1938) is a retired American actress best known for Star Trek: The Original Series (1969), The Interns (1970-1971), and Mannix (1967).
She was married to actor Steve Reeves, currently married to Billy James and has two children with James.
For four decades (1969-2009), she was the answer to the famous trivia question: "Who is the only person to have played Captain Kirk other than William Shatner?" Which she did in "Turnabout Intruder", after her primary character Dr. Janice Lester switched bodies with Kirk. With the release of Star Trek (2009) this is no longer the case, though she would remain the only other person to play Kirk in the "Prime" continuity until 2022, when actor Paul Wesley was announced to be playing a younger Kirk in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
