Pete Chatmon (born June 1, 1977 in New York City, New York) is an American filmmaker, writer and producer. He attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he earned a degree in film and television production.
After graduating, Chatmon began working in the film industry, first as an assistant editor and later as a director and producer. He made his directorial debut in 2003 with the indie film "Premium," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to receive critical acclaim. In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Chatmon is also the co-founder of Double 7 Films, a production company that specializes in creating innovative and socially conscious content.
He is married to actress Kelly McCreary.
