Joey T. Jeremiah, T for Tropes, at your service:
- Cool Old Guy: His efforts to commemorate Degrassi Junior High/Degrassi High, including helming a major reunion event of the original cast, despite the show's current copyright holders actively blocking several of his ideas and pursuits, have gained him this reputation amongst fans.
- Old Shame: Had a handful of periods of which he considered Degrassi as such, both after Degrassi High and Next Generation. This was in part due to typecasting, a fate most of the classic show's actors suffered. However, by the 2010s, social media introduced him to the cult following the show and his character continued to have, and he slowly became somewhat of a spearhead in commemorating the show's legacy.
- Urban Legends: Getting fired from Degrassi: The Next Generation for allegedly stealing and selling props on eBay. It actually originated from the satirical website Boycott The Caf, but morphed into a rumor that is still repeated by some fans today. While he currently runs a site selling Degrassi memorabillia, nobody involved with the show has ever corroborated any claim that he stole props from the set, that he was fired over it, or both.
