Manning Redwood, born Manning Ross Jr., (February 16, 1929 — July 9, 2006), was an American actor best known for playing Bob Conley in A View to a Kill.
He was born in New York City, and his acting career began on TV, most notably playing the lead role in Oppenheimer. His film debut came in 1980 as a forest ranger in The Shining.
Redwood appeared in a few other film roles around the same time - Harry Weiss in Shock Treatment (his only singing role), General Miller in Never Say Never Again, and Bob Conley in A View to a Kill.
In 1986, he and his wife moved to Norfolk to live quietly until 2004, when they moved to a nursing home in Surrey due to deteriorating health.
He died of an acute myocardial infarction at the age of 77.
