Klei Entertainment is a video game development company based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Klei was formed by Jamie Cheng in July 2005, and remained independent until 2021, when they were acquired by Tencent Games. They are best known for their games Mark of the Ninja, Don't Starve, Shank and Invisible, Inc. Their games are noted for their use of fluid 2D animation.
