John Waters (born December 8 1948 in London, England) is an actor and musician well-known in Australian television, theatre and film. The son of Scottish actor Russell Waters, he is likely best known for hosting Play School for over a decade. As such, he should under no circumstances be confused with American actor and director John Waters.
