Mary Janice Rule (August 15, 1931 – October 17, 2003) was an American actress and psychotherapist. She was best known for Bell, Book and Candle, 3 Women, and missing. (1982).

Originally from Ohio, she entered show business as a dancer in Chicago, eventually appearing in Broadway productions. Later in life she earned a Ph.D. and began practicing as a psychotherapist, continuing to act on occasion.

Rule died of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 72. She was married three times—to writers N. Richard Nash and Robert Thom and actor Ben Gazzara—and had two children.
