Jackbox Games (formerly Jellyvision) is a video game developer situated in Chicago, Illinois. The company was founded in 1989 as Learn Television and got their start making childrens' films and TV shows. That would change in 1995 with the debut of You Don't Know Jack, which became a massive success and saw numerous versions on the PC, and influenced the company name change to Jellyvision. They came to prominence again in 2008, when a games division spun off the main company, called Jellyvision Games, and later brought back YDKJ as a web game and console release. In 2013, the company was rechristened as Jackbox Games, and they have released other titles since. No matter what the theme, though, they're all quirky, humorous, and great at parties or Twitch streams.
