Eugene Barton Evans (July 11, 1922 – April 1, 1998) was an American actor. A regular presence in the films of Samuel Fuller, he was best known for Shock Corridor, Support Your Local Sheriff, and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.
Evans started acting in summer stock before World War II. He served in the Army during the war, making the rank of sergeant and acting with other GIs. He started appearing in movies after his discharge.
Evans was married twice, to Patricia Ann Willis and Mary Elaine Hert. He died of heart failure at the age of 75.
